  OH MY!!!! WE LOVED SINYA FROM THE MOMENT WE ARRIVED AND WERE GREETED BY SIMBA, BRANDO, AND LYNN. WE CELEBRATED OUR ANNIVERSARY WITH ALL THE COMFORTS OF A 5 STAR HOTEL IN A GLAMOROUS ECO-RETREAT. THE VIEWS ARE SPECTACULAR. WE ENJOYED THE HOT TUB AS WE WATCHED THE STARS AND STAIRED AT THE CLOUDS RACING BY THE MOON. WE HAD A FIRE IN THE PIT AND LISTENED TO THE SOUNDS OF NATURE. WE ENJOYED WATCHING THE HUMMINGBIRDS SWARMING THE FEEDERS AND CHATTING TO US. THE LINENS AND TOWELS WERE SO COMFORTABLE AND THE BED WAS LIKE FALLING INTO A HUGE BALL OF COTTON. THE LOCATION OF SINYA IS CLOSE TO WINERIES AND NEAT LITTLE PLACES. WE HOPE TO RETURN IN THE FALL TO SEE THE COLORS. LYNN IS THE MOST ACCOMMODATING HOSTESS AND TRULY WANTS TO MAKE YOUR VISIT PERFECT. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ASK. SINYA IS THE JEWEL OF TEXAS HILL COUNTRY GLAMPING.

  My husband and I recently stayed 2 nights at Sinya. A good start, but not quite long enough! EVERYTHING lived up to my expectations and more. Based on the previous reviews and photos, one can not help but get their hopes up. And Sinya absolutely hits the mark. Lynn is as helpful as can be. She booked us reservations at a nearby restaurant that she recommended, and it was everything she said it would be. The breakfasts she prepared for us were very tasty and well prepared. The tent is exquisite- I can't believe I would say that about a tent! Not only is it comfortable, but it is beautifully furnished. And very clean. The views are beautiful and the area peaceful. Since returning home, I have such an appreciation for the memories of our stay at Sinya. I am more than impressed with Lynn and what she has created and continues to share with others. I am looking forward to returning again and again.

  This was my husband's and my second visit to Sinya and it was even more wonderful than the first one. When we arrived and walked up the path to Sinya and I first stepped out on the deck, I felt like I was "home." As usual, Lynn thought of every detail possible to make us feel welcome and make our stay memorable. This time the weather was perfect for us to make full use the hammock (which was delightful) and use the outdoor grill to cook steaks. It was fun and romantic sitting out under the stars by the fire-pit and this time I got to make s'mores -- yum! The indoor amenities are so comfortable and luxurious and Lynn's breakfasts are a delectable indulgence, not to be missed! Sinya is one of my favorite places on earth to recharge and reconnect. We will return again at our first opportunity.

  My husband and I discovered Sinya last year at this time. We are always looking for a unique retreat from the world for our anniversary. I stumbled upon Sinya in an internet search and decided to take a chance. We were thrilled with it. Lynn has created such a beautifully luxurious and peaceful place to retreat from life's craziness. It is so peaceful and quiet...truly relaxing. Lynn has thought of everything, from the sumptuous bed and bedding to the "hippie hot tub" under the stars. While there is wifi (if you have to stay connected to the world) there is not a tv. No need for one. This is a place to pause and hit the reset button. I would also heartily recommend splurging on Lynn's gourmet breakfasts. She is a genius in the kitchen. We are gluten free eaters and Lynn had no problem overcoming that. She made a delicious breakfast that kept us satisfied until dinner. You will not regret a stay at Sinya. In fact, it will probably be a place you will want to go more than once. Sidenote, there is a fabulous restaurant about 10 minutes away in Driftwood called Mandolas.

  This is absolutely as beautiful as it looks. And the details - the amenities, the efficiency, convenience, aesthetics and other nuances are too many to list. The tent feels light, spacious, so comfortable. The climate control *really* works, if you need it! The views are spectacular. The bed is beyond comfortable. The hot tub, the outdoor shower, the beautiful bluff-side firepit, the kitchenette pre-stocked with cooking staples... and all of it five short minutes from all the conveniences of Wimberley, if you're so inclined. If you're not, you could stay in the tent the entire time and feel like you'd left civilization behind. Except for the good parts! Lynn is incredibly helpful, thorough, friendly and welcoming, and then she disappears. Close by if you need her, but you'll never see her. It's really the best of all worlds... like camping in your parents' backyard when you were a kid, only with all the grown-up comforts you can imagine. Stay here! You will not only not be disappointed, you'll be, like me, struggling to find words for how thrilled you are.

  Imagine sleeping under the billions of stars in a luxurious safari tent wrapped in the coziest bed you have slept in whilst the wild turkeys gobble and the coyotes howl at the moon, where the central Texas metro area is just over the next hill but you're tucked away, hidden in the Texas Hill Country. Well, my wife, Kimberly, and I don't have to as we stayed at Sinya! A truly unique experience! This is something we highly recommend for a couple of nights "away" from it all! The breakfast Lynn served was a delightful addition to a relaxing time... as well as her sharing some insights to how this place came about - inspiring to say the least!

  A weekend at Sinya is like stepping out of the rush and pressure of daily life and finding yourself in a personal paradise. The marriage of simple country decor and decadent comfort (complete with extraordinary home-cooked meals delivered right to the front deck) is a perfect blend with the surrounding countryside. You will feel yourself relax into the lovely world that has been created there. It is close enough to Wimberly for an evening on the town but far enough off the beaten path that afterwards you can retreat into your own beautiful, private space.

  Relaxing comfort abounds at this get away spot near Wimberly. We completely enjoyed our short stay here, wishing we did not have to leave. This is an excellent place to escape the stresses of life for a while. The owner lends her welcoming hospitality by providing assistance and an assortment of delectable treats if you choose to partake in the optional perks that we would highly recommend. I went tent camping as a kid, this ain't the same.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

  This place is not only peaceful and serene, but quiet (sounds of nature) and healing. We loved sitting in the cool tub, loved the outdoor shower and the bed and linens are like sleeping on a cloud. We had breakfast delivered and it was amazing!!!! You will love this place!!!!!

  Upon arriving at Sinya, we had NO idea just how beautiful and perfect it would be. Lynn is the most gracious host and don't be surprised by daily visits from Simba and Brando, her two beautiful dogs. Every morning we woke up to the sunrise and had our coffee out on the balcony overlooking the hills and the river. Hummingbirds were flying by us at all times and the sounds of the water and all the birds in the area left us begging for just one more night!! It's so conveniently located to the little town as well as plenty of wineries. However, we had to drag ourselves out leave the beautiful surroundings. We will definitely come back and can honestly say we had the most romantic getaway honeymoon ever! Ken and Tenley

Additional information about rental rates

A deposit of $200 is required to hold your reservation. Full payment of the rental fee is due 14 days prior to your check-in, at which time the reservation deposit will convert into a security deposit. The damage deposit is fully refundable within 24 hours of departure providing the certain provisions as outlined in the rental agreement are met.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

$200 fully refundable Reservation/Security Deposit.

6% Texas Lodging Tax & 2.75% Service Fee to be added to base rental fee.
