Sinya is gorgeous inside and out. Lynn is an absolutely lovely host who puts so much care and love and enthusiasm into the property. Plus she makes an incredible breakfast feast and picked out the most amazing bed and sheets I've ever slept on! A quick weekend wasn't enough. Will try to find a way to go back for longer next time... a perfect R&R weekend in a peaceful and romantic setting. Highlights were the hot tub, the outdoor shower, the deck and views, the insanely awesome bed, the walk down to the creek, watching the wildlife, Lynn's breakfasts, and hearing the birds chirping in the morning through our cozy canvas tent walls. This place is heaven.

My wife was a little skeptical of a safari tent in the Texas hill country. Upon arrival, the skepticism was quickly gone. Sinya on Lone Man Creek is amazing. The views from the veranda are breath taking, The lodging is fabulous and the hospitality was first class. The breakfasts served by the owner on the veranda were more that we could have ever expected. She was able to give directions to biking trails in the area and even arranged for a masseuse to come for my wife. You will not be dissapointed in the accomodations at Sinya. I would definately recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway from the city. Don Dallas, TX

We had an amazing experience at Sinya. It's beautiful, down to each well-thought out detail. The food was spectacular, the scenery (even in winter) was perfect, the space itself was so unique. We loved it; were referred by friends and will be referring friends in the future. We're literally in the middle of a move across the country and with so much going on thought I would be unable to unwind, but Sinya strikes the perfect chord that allowed both my husband and I to relax and enjoy a last couple of days in the Texas hill country. I'm so glad we found this place.

Sinya is a little piece of heaven in the Texas Hill country. It's the perfect place if you love nature, peace, privacy, and getting-away-from-it-all.. without surrendering luxury and comfort. Lynn has made sure to think of every detail and her careful selections in the decor make your stay comfortable and you will feel pampered and relaxed from the moment you arrive. The unique accommodations, the beautiful setting, and Lynn's attention to detail added up to a wonderful experience. We are already making plans to visit again.

Sinya was the best place for us to spend our honeymoon. We are 28 years old and we both completely loved this place. Lynn was a great host, always on top of everything. Things were spotless and it had everything we needed, it was all and more than we expected. The place was secluded, and I can honestly say there was not 1 thing we would change about our stay. We didn't stay for too long (Sunday through Wednesday)but it was just great. This will be our yearly getaway for our yearly anniversary!

Sinya is such an amazing place...a wonderful place to relax, restore, reconnect and contemplate. The tent itself is incredible, luxurious and accomodating, decorated beautifully, and with wonderful things to read and discover. It's as if you're in a treehouse...the surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the veranda is wonderful for birdwatching, getting up close and personal with hummingbirds, drinking wine, reading in the hammock, and just daydreaming and meditating. Lynn, the owner, is delightful and such a gracious hostess. Her breakfasts are beyond description...so delicious and presented so beautifully. You will absolutely love Sinya.

We are so happy to have discovered this gem of the Texas Hill Country! Our trip was to celebrate my birthday and our 38th wedding anniversary and Sinya was the perfect place. The accommodations were exquisite, the outdoor shower was a unique and fun "extra," the breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. The setting is so tranquil and relaxing; we spent a lot of time on the veranda talking, sipping wine and coffee, and watching the splendid array of colorful birds (the hummingbirds were amazing!) and other wildlife. We highly recommend Sinya for a relaxing, romantic time away from it all!

Staying at Sinya you will feel like royalty or as though you are a character in a movie. It is truly a magical experience. Every detail has been carefully planned and thought out. Lynn’s goal of bringing a little piece of Africa to Texas seems to be achieved. We were concerned that we would be wilting since we were there in 100 degree temps but we were very comfortable. The AC keeps up! I could go on and on about all of the details such as the bed, sheets, etc but to sum it up Sinya is a 6 star resort. It is an experience that will make you feel very fortunate to have experienced. My recommendation is be sure and order breakfast it is stellar. I would order any kind of room service that is provided after the wonderful meal we enjoyed. We are already planning our next trip.

Stayed at Sinya last Spring and it's still in my mind. What a great job Lynn did with this little slice of heaven. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the lodgings and hospitality. Especially the access to nature, outdoor shower, and overall decor. Such a relaxing vibe. Falling asleep to the sound of frogs and waking up to the sound of birds -- it doesn't get much better than this. Very clean and well maintained. Occasional radio noise from the neighboring property, but this was not a big distraction. Visually quite private from the owner's house. The region is rural/small towns so you will need to drive to dinner and activities. But that's to be expected in the Hill Country. Would definitely return. Highly recommended!

My husband and I just returned from our second stay at Sinya. What a wonderful place! All the great aspects of camping – being close to nature, the wind blowing through the tent all night and listening to the birds sing in the morning – but all the comforts of a fabulous bed and breakfast – comfortable décor, super comfortable bed, full shower (including an outdoor shower), refrigerator. But more than that is the utter relaxation you fall under immediately upon arrival. We had plans to leave Sinya for other activities during the day, but we decided to skip everything and just spend 2 full days on the wonderful veranda just relaxing. Lynn has truly thought of everything to make sure you have the perfect stay and is a fabulous host. If you need anything, she is there to help! Don’t need anything and you have the place to yourself uninterrupted. We recommend Sinya to everyone we can! It’s truly a unique and wonderful experience. We have already booked for a third stay!

If you are looking to connect with nature while being pampered by a fantastic host, then Sinya is for you. We could not have been more impressed by the "Glamping" resort. Everything has been well designed from the views, bedding, and breakfasts. A great experience that we cannot wait to return to for a peaceful vacation. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Great Experience - Exactly as Described

My husband and I learned about Sinya on Lone Man Creek from the website "goglamping.net" which my sister told us about. We love the outdoors and were looking for a unique experience. This definitely fit the bill. The pictures do not do the location or the safari tent justice. It was simply beautiful. The tent was spotless and tastefully decorated and had all of the amenities necessary to make one comfortable (no TV - but we didn't miss it at all and watched movies from my laptop). 360 degree views made the surrounding scenery accessible at all times. For much of the time we just enjoyed the setting. The experience was also inspirational. We found ourselves actually contemplating taking a safari trip in the future - something we had not given much thought to previously. The owner lives on the property, but her presence was never invasive. In fact, the few interactions we had, we enjoyed immensely. It was comforting knowing she was close in case of an emergency. We ordered breakfast for both days and the presentation and food were very good. We went to Wimberley Square to do some shopping and to eat a couple of times. It was our first time there and the town was quaint and interesting. We had thought of perhaps driving into San Marcos or other places, but found ourselves wanting to just enjoy Sinya. We definitely want to go back as this was just the type of retreat we were looking for. The owner has captured the essence and spirit of being one with nature. Good job!

My husband and I spent a recent weekend at Sinya and it won't be our last trip there. When we arrived and met Lynne she made us feel completely at home. When we awoke the next morning the serenity and magic of Sinya had completely captivated us. We had plans of going into Wimberley for the day, but opted instead to stay put and enjoy every last minute of our surroundings. Every detail has been thought carefully through, and we didn't have to ask for a thing. We have already told many others about our experience and I believe Lynne will see a spike in her bookings. We look forward to our next trip to Sinya for our anniversary in December.

Sinya was truly an amazing experience. Sitting on the porch gazing at stars, showering under the stars, having a panaramic view from your bed was unique and truly amazing. The bungalow was beautiful, inside and out. Everything you need for comfort exceeded expectations. The owner was fantastic and loved talking with her. My husband and I spent two wonderful nights here recently and truly enjoyed every moment. We had honeymooned in Africa 10 years ago and stayed in several tented lodges that were amazing but this place brought it all back for us. The owner has made every effort to capture the "getting away from it all" experience and we plan to return again and again. If you are wavering on this place, take my advice and book it now - you'll be glad that you did.

Sinya weekend

I wish I had more time there! It was very peaceful and secluded, yet you have the option to have a full schedule if that's what you'd prefer. It was clean, comfortable and I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. I booked the weekend for my husband as a surprise for him to get away and have a weekend to himself. He asked that I join him at least on Saturday... so i did! I did not have a chance to really explore the property and my stay was short, but I slept well and had a really nice dinner at Mandola's and a very peaceful morning. We left Sunday and walked around Wimberley then had a really fun lunch at Brew and Chew (I think that's what it is called). Lynn is great and definitely wants to make sure you have everything you need and is great at suggesting places to go and things to see. The only drawback is that we don't have enough money to spend as much time there as we'd like to! But now we have a perfect getaway location we can save up for.

"With the amenities and accoutrements of a five-star hotel, coupled with the ambiance and adventure of the Swiss Family Robinson tree house, Sinya is the complete package!! The sights, sounds, and spirit of this magical place make it truly a piece of "Heaven on Earth". "It is beautiful, peaceful, full of love. We recently stayed at Sinya to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. The experience was fantastic. Our host, Lynn, was exceptionally accommodating and gracious. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful while the 'tent' could qualify as a 4 star resort. We highly recommend the stay for anyone seeking a quiet retreat from the stress of everyday life. Romantic, secluded, a wonderful location to relax and enjoy each other and nature. The overnight thunderstorm was even a highlight for the trip.

Sinya is unbelievable!!! Of all the places we have traveled, locally and internationally, Sinya ranks at the top of our list. As beautiful as the pictures are, it still somehow does not do this amazing place justice. I cannot believe a place like this exist in the US, let alone in Austin's backyard. I think it is a place where hippies and yuppies can unite. It was perfect for my outdoorsy husband, and perfect for his pampered wife. Lynn made our stay comfortable and cozy, the perfect hostess!!! I am thankful a place like this exist and we plan on returning over and over again!!!!

"I was lead to this place online...looking for somewhere to spend our 14th anniversary. Immediately, I knew this was it. The online pics were beautiful, but do no justice to actually being here. Wow - absolutely serene! We've concluded - there is no better place that we would rather be. So...we will be seeing you next year! "Your place is absolutely breathtaking to say the least! This was the perfect place for what we knew we needed - to re-energize, reconnect, be a little selfish and ultimately, make us miss our little guy even more than we already do each day while he is at school during the day.
