We stayed at Cabrita Point Condo the week of March 25. We were completely satisfied with the accommodations. It is exactly as pictured online. As others have commented, we loved sleeping with the windows open, listening to the waves, and the incredible view. Highlights of our trip- We loved the live music at Latitude 18, and what an easy walk. We loved taking our time, walking into Red Hook, occasionally catching the safari bus when need be. Taking the ferry to St. John, a must for a visit.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Just returned from paradise, my wife and I spent our 25th anniversary at Cabrita by the Sea. We had a great time. The condo had everything we needed. We hiked Cabrita hill every morning, sat on the deck and watched the boats. Took several daytrips, but mostly relaxed. Perfect place for that. Kim and Peter were available if we needed anything. Definitely a do-over!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My husband and I stayed here for a week, the week after thanksgiving. The unit is part of a small apartment complex, right on the ocean. The unit is very well equipped and had everything we needed: cooking supplies, beach chairs, small coolers, beach towels, boogie boards, a safe, a guide book, reading books, lots of DVDs and music CDs. The place was also very clean and well kept. There are plenty of fans and an AC unit for when it gets hot. The porch is nice in the morning while having coffee (to watch the humingbirds). If you use it at night beware of insects! There are no-see-ums that come out around sunset (everywhere on the island) that ate us alive our first night. Buy OFF bug spray (deep woods)!!! Other tips: I would recommend renting a car while there, if you plan to explore the island. We tried to visit a new beach every day. I'm sure taxis would work, but having a car was very convenient. Food on the island is quite expensive. Kmart in Charlotte Amelie was a good place to buy lower priced snacks, basic foods and alcohol (no fresh produce though). Also; it's recommended you drink purified water (at least when we were there). There is a grocery store a short drive away.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Kim & Peter are the Best! Cabrita By the Sea is the perfect get away. My fiance and I just got home last night and we are already wishing we were back there. The condo is situated in a very private, quiet atmosphere but within walking distance to everything. The beach is only a 5 minute walk through the trail (which you may come across some deer on) and the Ritz is right across the street from the beach. We spent alot of our time just relaxing on the back deck just gazing at the ocean watching the amazing birds that come to the deck for food. They are so bright and colorful. This condo was definately fully equipped like it's your home. There are tons of books and movies, snorkle gear, hair products, everyhing you would find at home. It's wonderful! Wi-Fi is easy to connect and very reliable. Kim also has a book made up for guest that is like a St. Thomas bible. It tells you about all the resturants, activities, taxis and so much more. I would definate say that if you are looking for a laid back place, this is the one! Kim and Peter will go out of their way to make your stay the best! I am already counting the time till we can go back. I would definately recommend going down past the beach to the boat rental hut. We rented a little sail boat for the day (very reasonably priced) and just spent a day sailing around. We found a nice little private beach to spend some time on also! Bolongalo Bay also is one of the best places to go to see sea turtles! Thank you again Kim! You really did make this one of of most memorable vacations.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

What a wonderful place! For our 35th anniversary we wanted to see the Virgin Islands National Park; and we found so much more ? If you want to have a quiet place to yourself – you can just spend your days relaxing on the porch. The only distraction will be hummingbirds and boats in the distance. If you like more active vacation you will find near by places for hiking and snorkeling. If you like good food, and shopping, there is plenty of that within 25 minute walk (or 5 minute taxi drive, $5-6 per person) at Red Hook. Since we wanted to see St. John Island, we hiked to Red Hook and took ferry to St. John which is mostly a National Park. If you are there, stop by the information center. The National Park has great, free tours, from snorkeling in the most beautiful Trunk Bay to historical tours of sugar mill ruins. St. John Island is only 15 minutes away via ferry ($6.00 per person one way). Kim and Paul were very helpful, easygoing and unobtrusive. The kitchen was well supplied with spices and other essentials. We loved to sleep with open windows and wake up to the sound of ocean (we never had to use AC and we were there in July, we loved it). Our condo had bird feeders for hummingbirds and sugar birds. Birds entertained us every morning and evening. We saw paradise ?Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My wife and I flew down for a friend's wedding and rented with Kim and Peter. They were extremely easy to work with through the initial process with email and reservations. We took a very early flight in and they both worked hard to make sure the condo was ready for us, and even had it ready early. When we got to the condo itself, we immediately fell in love. It is the perfect size for a couple and the view is breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable, not to mention waking up to the sound of the sea lapping up on shore. We loved sitting on the patio watching the ships go buy along with the amazingly clear water. They have equipment to take to the beach, such as snorkeling gear and tennis rackets, which is great to have when you don't want to pack it yourself. We did not have a car, but the cabs were fairly easy to get. Our friend, who is a native islander who moved to the states, told us that the next time she comes to visit, this is where she plans on staying.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Left the kids, pets and work in Memphis, and hung out and mellowed at Cabrita for a week. The condo was great. Quiet. Very rarely did we watch TV or listen to music. When not seeing the sites, we lounged on the porch, sipped some wine and watched the birds and the boats come and go into Red Hook. Relaxing. These condos are in a great spot that is quiet, yet close to many resorts and beaches that offer good snorkeling, and great food as well. The kitchen was well appointed, but we never used it. Living room was beachy. Our condo was not big enough for kids, and that is exactly why we picked it. Peter recommended the snorkeling at the Secret Harbour which was great, but the fish tacos at the Secret Harbour Sunset Grille were even better. Try them. Iggies and Bolongo Bay was very good for lunch and hangin' out. Red Hook has a handful of restaurants that are good. These condo's are situated 10 min. from many good spots, and the ferry over to St. Johns. The time will come and we will do this again, and book with Peter and Kim. They are great hosts, very responsive and provide great tips. Rent a car, get the mask and snorkel, and a do a para sail. Or just catch some sun on one of the many great beaches. Or drive up the mountains and enjoy the views. When you go, do a day or 2 in St. Johns. Some interesting night spots and shops there as well.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

With not knowing the layout of St. Thomas, I would say that Cabrita Point (and this condo!) is the perfect location! It was quiet, breathtakingly beautiful, serene... everything one could hope for in a caribbean vacation! The condo was literally 10' from the water.. sitting on the porch in the morning enjoying a cup of joe was one of our favorite experiences! Every night we were serenaded to sleep with the sounds of the ocean...ahhh to go back!! Thank you Kim and Peter for an unforgettable experience... we will definitely be back and recommend you to others. The ocean breeze and view from the condo were amazing! The condo is in close proximity to great snorkeling and not far from Red Hook, which has some great restaurants, bars and shops! If you like falling asleep with a warm breeze, the sound of waves crashing outside your window, and enjoy amazing views of the landscape, pelicans, geckos, and hummingbirds this is the place for you. We arrived on the Sunday before our wedding and were welcomed with open arms by Peter and Kim. Besides information that they had provided in the condo they were beyond helpful and gave us great tips about where to eat and what to see. The location is within walking distance to beaches and Red Hook is a short twenty minute jaunt. We couldn't have been happier with our experience there! Thank you Peter and Kim, you helped make our trip one to remember!!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Peaceful and out of the way of other tourist activities. Yet close to all. The best sailing in the world with the British Virgin islands next door as well as St John.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Going to sleep in the evening listening to the beautiful sound of the ocean just 30 ft away.
