The Palms of Rehoboth is a small community of condos and this single row of townhomes. The Palms features a COMMUNITY POOL, PERFECT FOR A QUICK DIP OR ALL DAY RELAXATION surrounded by a pond with water fountains. This community is very convenient to almost all of the local attractions. We are conveniently located off Route 1 in Rehoboth across the street from outlet shopping and less than a mile from Jungle Jim's Water park. There is a DART shuttle stop in front of The Palms that can take you to the beach, movies, outlets or many other locations. The cost is $2 for adults and free for children, you no longer have have to worry about parking. Shuttles depart every 15- 20 minutes to most locations and run from early morning until late evening. It is only a 5 minute drive to downtown Rehoboth, the beach and boardwalk (check their website for schedules). Our home is a short drive to other beaches including Lewes, Bethany and Dewey. We cannot forget other great area's such as Tower beach, Cape Henlopen State Park, tax-free shopping outlets, restaurants, bars, water parks, go carts, and movie theaters.

Loft has an 8" futon bed that could sleep 2 children if needed. Great kids space with TV, books, and games. Plug and play games and kids DVD movies available for use. We also have some kids puzzles and toys handy to keep little ones occupied.
This home is equipped with all the amenities including three televisions, two DVD players, 1 VHS player(in Loft area), fireplace, one-car garage, plenty of parking, screened porch/3 three season room, central air conditioning, community pool, beautifully landscaped grounds, side yard for kids to play outside. The kitchen opens to the living room and dining area and is stocked with everything you need to prepare daily meals. The dining area can seat 7 and we have 2 bar stools for the counter area. Additional table seating for 4 is provided on the screened porch, plus an outdoor patio table with additional 4 chairs (stored in garage). There is a charcoal grill located on the patio next to the porch. Please pull it away from the home when in use for safety reasons.
Beach toys and chairs are located in garage and are available for your vacation use. We just ask that you hose them off prior to leaving so the next guest can enjoy them as well. Water hose at the rear of the home.

Why the Owner Chose Rehoboth Beach
My family has always vacationed in Ocean City Maryland and the adjoining beaches. We love the location of this home in Rehoboth because it saves us a good 45 minutes of travel time and the Boardwalk has a Funland for kids and ticket prices are very reasonable. It is close to the beach and the community has a pool which is essential when we vacation with our kids who love to swim. This home a lot of bedroom space which allows us to travel with extended family.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
Since I enjoy shopping, the closeness to the outlets is fabulous! There are plenty of choices of good restaurants if you like eating out. We enjoy walking to IHOP for breakfast. There is also a Raw Bar restaruant and sub shop you can easily walk to. We are very close to Jungle Jims water park which is a huge hit with our kids. Downtown Rehoboth is so quaint and of course the boardwalk is great for an evening stroll, plus they have a small amusement park for kids! We typically use the metered parking downtown to go to the beach, or you can choose to go to the Henlopen State Park beach as well which also has a fising pier, walking and biking trails.

I have been a Realtor in PA for 11 years. I have a B.A. degree in teaching and still substitute from time to time. My husband and I have 2 kids and 2 dogs. We enjoy travelling, golfing, fishing, camping and spending time with our children. We have always lived in PA and have lots of family close by. We have always dreamed of having a place close to ocean, and this year we were fortunate enough to make that dream come true. This home has made it possible for our kids to spend quality time with grandparents and cousins at the same time which is hard to accomplish because of the size of our families.

We had a wonderful vacation during our stay at this townhouse which was very, very comfortable for our extended family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). Plenty of room and never felt crowded! My parents stayed in the downstairs bedroom which was perfect for them (no stairs)!. The house was in really great shape and well laid out. Thee kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need. We've rented vacation houses before that barely had anything, but this house had plenty of everything and then some! Gas grill, linens, high speed internet, cable tv, lots of beach toys for the kids in the garage! My husband and kids enjoyed playing wiffle ball in the side yard! Great location - close to shopping, beach and water/go-cart parks! Owner very helpful and answered all our questions! .
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.

We stayed here the week of August 21st 2011 and loved it. Rentals can sometimes get kind of shabby and run down but this place just felt like home! It was beautifully decorated and the furnishings were very confortable and well above average. We went to a couple different beaches in the area and had no trouble parking. The $8.00 parking fee per car was a bargain compared to individual beach passes required in most of New Jersey. The only downside was the fact that hurricane Irene came to town and we had to leave sooner than planned! I would definately recomend this lovely townhome.

My family and I just spent the week of July 4th 2010 in this beautiful home. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we would be staying in a very nice place - the photos online don't do it justice. We liked how the entrance was on the side of the unit and the fact that it was so quiet, even though Rt. 1 is close by. Speaking of close by, you couldn't ask for a more convenient location..the outlets, Jungle Jim's, restaurants and downtown Rehoboth. The owners were very accommodating and helpful and replied to my emails within a day. We will definitely be making a return trip to this unit!

House: Spacious, clean, bright, easily accommodated 8 people. There is everything you need (or think you need) to spend a great vacation. Location: At the very end of a private community that is adjusted to large shopping zone (mostly outlets). Therefore, you enjoy an extremely quiet neighborhood and convenience of shopping. One big water-park is about 1/2 mile away, another (smaller) is about 1 mile away. The only downsize is that you must drive to any beach (the closest is about 2 miles away). But the combination of price, quality of the house and distance to the beach is more than reasonable. We did not find any difficulty to find a parking space near beach. Just take a couple of blocks off main route. There is also a bus going along main route to the beach, although we did not use it. Bottom line: the perfect house at the great location. We definitely will come back to this house if we decide to go to the area again. I would highly recommend to rent this house.
