All the comforts of home and a beautiful outdoor view. Whether relaxing on the porch, shopping historic downtown Clayton or rafting the river - this home has something for everyone.
The master bedroom is a spacious first floor room with a connecting private bath including a whirlpool tub. The master bedroom also features French doors leading out to a wrap around porch with a gorgeous view. The upstairs bedroom also features a king size bed and a connecting bathroom with a tub-shower combination. This room also includes a large walk-in closet.
The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing a stay at home meal. If dining out is preferred, then Clayton is only 5 minutes away with many options.
Shopping the Tanger Outlet Mall in Commerce is only a 45 minute drive. There are so many places to see and visit within a hour's drive. Helen, Clemson, golfing on Kingwood and many scenic waterfalls.

There are so many different places to explore in this area, from rafting to boating and fishing.Sometimes just relaxing on the porch is a nice way to spend the evening.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The nice thing is that most places to visit out from the house are only a hour's journey. The Biltmore Estates or Clemson South Carolina and even the Great Smokies can easily be made into a day's journey.

The owner worked with me to rent his house on short notice and my family and I are very happy with the experience. The house is laid out well and was immaculate. We had our two small dogs with us and could let them roam the fenced back yard for exercise. I am also, like the previous reviewer, from Florida (born and raised on flat terrain), but found the hill-climb to be fun. I would recommend this property to friends and family.
Recommended for:Pet owners, families with young children.

This house was perfect for our family vacation. It was perfectly located close to the Chatooga River for rafting and zip lining. The house itself was unbelievably clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with every appliance/utensil we needed, plus lots of extra towels & bedding. The huge porch was a great place to relax with a drink and a book. Only thing missing was a DVD player. Be aware that it's a steep climb up the road to the house (at least for someone from Florida!). The owner, Mr. Goff, is extremely helpful and friendly. If we go back to Georgia for more rafting, we'll stay here again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers.
