The months of September and October in Maine is a beautiful time of year. The weather is comfortable usually in the 70's. Fall time brings the craft fairs and the biggest fair in Maine - the famous Fryeburg Fair beginning October 4th through October 11th. The fair presents over 200 of Maine's most talented musicians and entertainers throughout the Fair week. Other activities for fall experience are apple picking and the beautiful fall foliage near the end of September into the first and second week of October. Come do some sightseeing and enjoy magnificent beauty along Maine's roadways.
Naples is in the SouthWestern part of Maine . It is a unique town surrounded by Long Lake and Brandy Pond extending to the 2nd largest lake in Maine Sebago Lake. Many festivities happen on the Causeway and its famous Songo Queen river paddle boat that will take you to the Songo Locks and tour of Long Lake. 45 minutes Northeast to Brunswick, and 45 minutes Northwest will take you to North Conway and the White Mountains, and 45 min South to Portland and the Ocean.
