Spend your day at the beach, take advantage of the many water sports activities on the Harbor or walk along the developing Harborwalk watching the fishing boats bring in their catch. Enjoying every minute of sunshine is easy at Emerald Grande. But, if the weather does not cooperate, or if too much sun is achieved, rest assured that there is plenty of fun without the exposure. Stay on property at one of our pools, including the indoor pool. Work out in the huge fitness facilities, indulge in the on-site European spa, shop at one of the nearby retailers or dine at one of Destin’s award winning restaurants. Being in the heart of Destin, you will be close to it all! You’ll even have your own dining right here on-site.
Other wonderful dining especially close to Emerald Grande, not to mention some of our favorites, are Harbor Docks and the Lucky Snapper. Both are Harbor front and feature great casual local dining. As for shopping, the Harborwalk right here is growing to include more shopping, but within a short drive, is our Destin Commons, too. It hosts an eclectic mix of shops, dining and our RAVE movie theater. Just a few more miles to the east is the world’s largest outlet mall, Silver Sands Factory Stores. With over 100 designer names and located just minutes from the beautiful white sandy beaches and emerald green waters of Destin, Silver Sands is a shopper's paradise. To the east a little further is our newest shopping mall, Grand Boulevard that boasts even more shopping like Billabong, JCrew and dining including Flemings, Mitchells, Cantina Laredo and more.
Destin, known as the ”World’s Luckiest Fishing Village,” is also home to great fishing as its name implies. Fish from the beach or boat. If you do not want to bring your boat, one of Destin’s many charter boats would love the opportunity to take you out for full or half day excursions. With water all around Destin with the intercoastal waterway to the north and Gulf on the south, we have an abundance of water sports available, too, including kayaking, wave running, parasailing, kite surfing, snorkeling and so much more! Most of which are right in your backyard at the Harbor in Destin.
