4 bedroom 2 bath rustic and cozy cabin with large, wooded, enclosed backyard with deck and gas barbeque, great for dogs. Hot tub, fits 7 people. Can sleep up to 10 people. 10 minutes to North Star Ski Resort, 20 minutes to Mt. Rose, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, and 5 minutes to North Shore casinos. Living room includes flat screen cable TV with home theater sound system and DVD player. Wireless Internet access. Key-less entry system.

Great cabin, but not very clean

I would not stay here again. The house seems to have never been dusted, there was dust everywhere, the floors were not clean, and if you looked under the beds or the couch there was dust and animal hair everywhere. A quick vacuuming and dusting could go a long way in this house, which we would have gladly done when we arrived if there was a vacuum to use. The pictures on VRBO seemed outdated as well. This being said, the house was very well stocked, everything you could need in the kitchen. Plenty of towels. The hot tub was amazing and the location was beautiful. If a little dirt doesn't bother you then this might be the prefect place as it was very reasonably priced.

A lot of Wear and Tear

This cabin has potential but unfortunately was not well cleaned, and there is ALOT of wear and tear. The inside is rather dark, and there are alot of random personal items not put away (printer?). If some time was spent updating and repairing this cabin it would be great as there are good sized rooms and a HUGE backyard. The spa in the backyard was our favorite thing of this stay. Also, parents of little tots beware! There are a lot of cabinets and things kids can go into, and the floors weren’t very clean when we arrived. This is not an easy house to childproof.

Family trip to Lake Tahoe

The location of this property is perfect. All the amenities listed are accurate. The remodeled bathroom and shower upstairs was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. However, the property was not very clean. We had to vacuum and sweep on the first day. We found multiple clumps of dog hair all around the house. Marty was very responsive to all questions asked.

Tahoe King family vacation

The house was cozy, but dark. Beds and furniture were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. TV provided a variety of entertaining programs. The fenced yard was fantastic for the dogs and we enjoyed the backyard deck and hot tub.
