With 180 feet of lake frontage, it sits among the natural surroundings of picturesque Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua branch)"quiet side". There's a view of the lake from practically every room. The lake house is tastefully decorated and features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances, granite countertops, a breakfast bar and island. Enjoy lakeside dining either inside or on the charming outdoor Pergola (arbor) complete with gas grill and plenty of seating. The wrap-around deck provides the ambience of both the lake and spectacular Missouri river bluffs. It's the perfect place to congregate.
Inside, the large, vaulted great room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows complete with panoramic view, a stunning stone corner fireplace and a BIG SCREEN TV. During cool or rainy days, Curl-up in front of the Fireplace with a good book or gather around the PIANO, play one of our many family friendly games, select a movie from one of the Satellite Movie/Sports channels or just sit & enjoy the amazing view!
Bedroom arrangements include a LARGE MASTER SUITE with a KING SIZED bed, private balcony & TV. Adjacent SPA-TYPE MASTER BATH with a glass block walk-in shower, twin vanities and dressing room/walk-in closet. 2nd bedroom has a KING SIZED bed, walk-in closet and Jack & Jill bath shared with 3rd bedroom which has QUEEN SIZED Bed, plus a FULL SIZED sofa sleeper. A possible 4th sleeping area is the great room sofa-sleeper. Also, (Portable Crib) Pack-n-Play could be placed in any of the 3 walk-in closets (Yes, they're large enough!).
The house has a laundry room/mudroom located off the kitchen with a full size washer/dryer. Plus, a convenient 1/2 bath leading out to the Oversized 2 car garage. Complete with 2nd fridge! Kitchen is stocked with everything from a Crockpot to Martini & wine glasses!

Why the Owner Chose Camdenton
My wife and I rented this house for the Labor Day weekend in 2011 and we fell in love with the house and the location of the home. What is not to like: 180' of lake front with dock in a quiet cove, yet you can see all the activity on the main channel. Private gated community, Great Golf Course, close to town, everything is one level, and best of the all - is the view!!
The Unique Benefits at this House
This home is on the lake and is adjacent to Old Kinderhook which is a highly rated golf course. So you get the best of everything. You get the fishing, boating, water skiing and tubing, Great golf course. Plus, a 2-mile senic walk which takes you along the lake and through part of the golf course. Golf course/Resort is so convenint.. as are the two great restaurants. Enjoy eating-in and the magnigicent view from indoors or outdoor deck. Something for everyone... young and old.

(originally entered in the guest book) We had a wonderful time on our vacation. The weather was hot, but it was perfect to spend our days at the dock, relax in the water, and read. We all loved how the water was so warm. One evening the whole family played "wipe-out" with all the rafts set-up in a line. We also rented a pontoon for a day & had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing your home with us..We had such a nice time. We enjoyed kayaking, hiking @ just relaxing. The neighbors were friendly and the night sky was fabulous to view from the dock. What a treat. We'd love to return with family!

(originally submitted 8/12/11) Our Family has had so much fun. We walked or ran the two mile circle every morning (some of the younger clan are runners). Every morning has been Beautiful here. What a view! The house has such a good floor plan and comfortable flow. Everything we needed was available. We have enjoyed slowing down at the lake and floating on rafts in the early afternoon sun. Going out for dinner and then sleeping like a rock for a solid 8-9 hours. No one wanted to leave. We will need to come back again. Your lake house is darling!

(This was originally submitted 6/21/11) This was our first time renting a Vacation property sight unseen and were a little leery what we were getting ourselves into. The owner was great help all the way during the process. We were totally impressed by the location and the house! We rented the house with another family and the accomodations were perfect! Us guys were avid golfers and being in the gated community of Old Kinderhook was a perfect location. We played golf there twice during our stay and the course was outstanding and the food at the restaurant was very good. The house is located on a perfect part of the lake for families looking for a quiet get away. Kids swam safely off the dock since it is in a no wake zone, but also was not a pain being in that zone with the boat, as it's near the end of the no-wake zone so can zip to regular waters in less than a minute. The area of the lake was perfect for taking the family tubing or water sports. This place takes LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION to the extreme as we cruised a good area of the lake and was difficult to find a better spot than this house. P.S. if your going as a group, find some way to fight for the master bedroom. The house is outstanding, but the master bedroom is awesome. Big space, access to deck with view of lake and one of the most beautiful (and large) master bathrooms that you'll ever see!! You wont be disappointed with this rental.
