This home sleeps 12, enjoys a private, peaceful and beautiful location overlooking the Gallatin Valley and wheat fields. Guests will enjoy fantastic mountain views, 20 minutes to downtown Bozeman, 20 minutes to the Gallatin Airfield, 8 minutes to Big Boys Toys All Terrain Rentals for your “fun rentals”, 2 minutes to the “best ole cowboy bar in Gallatin Gateway” and 3 minutes to the historical Gallatin Gateway Inn. The home sits on 2 1/2 acres of grassy green lawn with a seasonal creek running through a corner of the property under the pines. A perfect spot for the hammock and reading one’s favorite novel or listening to the birds in the summer and large play area for snow fort building and sledding in the winter.
A “log home feel” to the living room, is truly a "great room!" Sliding glass doors open to the outside deck to bring the outside in; a lofted ceiling with large windows facing the back yard, deck, and apple tree makes it easy to watch the family of mule deer. The living room is divided by the furniture enabling everyone to be together yet doing different activities. A comfortable seating area in front of the large armoire with TV, another seating area in front of the river rock fireplace for reading, and another area with a game table in front of the wet bar. The home is appointed with comfortable western and leather furniture. Guests will enjoy a family atmosphere with games, puzzles, Disney movies and family movies “made in Montana”, OR a great “guys, gals, or couples” ski or snowmobiling weekend!
The dining area adjoins the kitchen, with a beautiful dining table that seats twelve comfortably and sixteen when necessary. There is extra seating at the bar in the kitchen, and through the sliding doors to the outside for more seating. Seven extra tables with 24 chairs and white linens accompany the outdoor seating if desired and requested.
The fully equipped kitchen has top of the line appliances and amenities. It has absolutely everything you will need for any meal you have planned - two full size ovens, trash compactor, dishwasher, disposal, and wet bar. A set of 24 dishes, glassware, cookware, serving ware and a good spice cabinet is included. Another set of “dress dishes” (white) for 12.
There are two more living areas, with televisions, if your group wants to divide up. One is a small loft upstairs, where a family of four or five can locate. The apartment over the garage can be another location for a family of four or five. It has its own living room, woodstove, balcony overlooking the valley, fully equipped kitchen and another television. Direct TV, and wireless is throughout the home, so that your lap top can be used anywhere in the home to get your e-mail.
The deck surrounding the home has a picnic table. The patio which connects to the deck has a gas barbecue grill, fire pit, and another outdoor table and umbrella for those outdoor meals.
The front porch has two more tables, chair, and wicker settee for the afternoon cocktails to watch the “Alpen Glow” over the Bridger Mountains. The front porch is also a favorite in the morning for coffee. The home has five bedrooms, one pullout sofa and three full bathrooms. The master bedroom is located upstairs and is very spacious with a king size bed and large private bath with a jetted tub. The loft has another double bed and is on the same level as the master. The two additional bedrooms in the house are on the main floor with queen size beds, and share a full bathroom with tub and shower. Over the garage, there is a spacious one bedroom apartment that has another "master" bedroom with king size bed, skylight over the bed and private bath (with a garden jetted tub!). The house can accommodate up to twelve guests, however, there are 6 beds
The home is mostly surrounded by a private ranch and open space, perfect for reunions, business retreats, small intimate weddings of 40, or a fun get-away. 3 private areas for three families, yet you are all together

Why the Owner Chose Bozeman
Bozeman is the Gateway to Yellowstone. It is an outdoor "meca". I choose this home and location because of distance from the airport, skiing, fishing, snowmobiling, and finding adventure! Plus, the home was furnished with lovely comfortable leather and fabric and log furniture, wool oriental rugs and original western paintings.
The Unique Benefits at this Home
The need to "get away" from the traffic, noise, and rush, rush...I come to enjoy the peace, quiet, listen to the song birds, watch the herds of mule deer, easy life style and friendly people. I sometimes turn on classical music and open all windows and find the mule deer sitting under the trees listening to the music!!! I enjoy having coffee in the morning on the front porch overlooking the wheat fields and cocktails at sunset on the front porch. When it gets hot, I sit on our little bridge and dangle my feet in the water under the pine trees. It is such a nice "get away"!

I was a flight attendant for United Airlines for 36 years. After retiring, I visited my children in Bozeman and fell in love with the area because I love being the mountains, camping, skiing, and noticed it was like Denver/Vail/Aspen was 30 years ago. I thought there was great potential and purchased a business, than oh my, had to have a place to stay when I came to town! For some reason, was able to get this house, which goes hand in hand with the business...Basically, the business offers fun rentals for families to enjoy together. Yellowstone Park is 2 hours away and Big Sky Skiing is 40 minutes and fly fishing is 2 minutes away! Because I think this home is "special", the peace and the beauty and the adventures that surround the area, I enjoy being able to share this home with families for their get-togethers, or special events.
