Villa Vista del Mediterraneo is situated on the coast 10 minutes from both the historic market towns of Almunecar and Salobrena. It is set on a large plot of 1,200 square meters with its own free form swimming pool. The property is also in a very private position and not overlooked. Two of the many highlights of this lovely airy and spacious villa are the colourful Mediterranean garden and magnificent views. The villa is also ideal for those who like walking with hills and beautiful walks right outside the front door
Upon entering you will be wowed by the spectacular sea views and the light and airy large open plan living room consisting of lounge and dining area with a further feature of the sun lounge. The room is double height with vaulted ceilings, a wonderful treat. To the south there is a wall of windows offering fabulous views of the Mediterranean and to the west there are French doors that allow you to enjoy the vibrant garden from inside and the soothing sound of an outdoor fountain.
On the entry level of the villa you will also find a fully equipped kitchen with great views, a bedroom with twin beds as well as a bathroom. This bedroom is ideal for anyone with mobility issues as there are no steps and the entry to the house is completely level.
Upstairs, there are 2 good sized bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and one with a large terrace. Both bedrooms have great sea views.
On the lowest level of this 3 story villa there is a guest apartment with a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom, large sitting room (with 2 day beds, ideal for children) and a kitchen.
Because of the design with the bedrooms spread out over 3 floors the villa is ideal for multiple families sharing a holiday together. The villa can sleep 10 in total between the 4 bedrooms and the downstairs den. There are large spaces where everyone can be together, but when people want time on their own they can easily find a private spot on the terraces or in the lovely mature garden.
The pretty, free form swimming pool is located off the lower level and also can be approached from steps leading down from the garden area. It is situated on a large, south facing sunny terrace with outdoor toilet, shower, and dining area. There are comfortable sun loungers and several seating areas.
The urbanisation on which the villa is located also has a public recreational area with a large pool and tennis court. Our guests have complimentary use of these facilities. The tennis court is open year round and the communal pool in July and August. The villa has broadband and wireless internet access. There is a golf course 10 minutes away that is located right on the beach. The world famous Alhambra Palace and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are about an hour and a half drive and easily accessible.
