You will be spoiled when you treat yourself to a stay at our wonderful vacation home. Our home for 11 years has all the decor and furnishings that we so lovingly set in place when we occupied it. We offer it proudly to guests from around the world and across the country.
When you enter there is a garden window that looks out on to the front garden. Two steps down and you are in the living room with sky lites in the vaulted ceiling and a cozy stone fireplace. French doors open on to the covered patio that has a large table with eight chairs for outdoor dinning. The kitchen has oak cabinets and a great view down the street. Also on this side of the house is the laundry room, a bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a full size bed making this section of the house very private.
On the other side of the house is the master bedroom with a queen size bed, TV with DVD player, built in cabinets, and crown molding. There is the front bedroom with two full sized beds and mirrored wardrobe doors. Separating these two bedrooms is a fully tiled bathroom with a combination shower and bathtub.
The front room has a queen size convertible sofa and a TV and VCR. The Barbecue area is conveniently located off the kitchen and the back yard has a zen-meditative feel.
Each guest has a set of towels at the foot of their bed. There are 2 foam foldout mats for small children who want to sleep in the same room as Mom and Dad. All guests are welcome to use the beautiful pool area located next door in our back yard.
We also offer for larger parties a 4 bedroom 2 bath house right next door with all the same amenities and a beautiful garden front and back. To rent both houses make sure you book far enough in advance. Great for family reunions. Both homes have Thomas Guides for L.A. and Orange Counties, large reading libraries and telephones with free local calling. For our younger guests and for the child in you we decorate for all holidays.
We are located on a quiet and safe cul de sac in a single family home neighborhood just minutes from Disneyland, you can hear the fireworks at night. The Anaheim Convention Center, Downtown Disney, California Adventure, The Crystal Cathedral, Angel Stadium and Movie theaters are just minutes away. Fifteen minutes to Knotts Berry Farm, Medieval Times, Movieland Wax Museum, Wild Bills, Los Alamitos Race Track, South Coast Plaza Shopping Center, and Huntington Beach (Surf City). Universal Studios, Hollywood, LAX Airport, and Beverly Hills are only 45 minutes away. Sea World, San Diego, Wild Animal Park, and Legoland are a 90 minute drive. The mountains (Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead) or the Desert (Palm Springs, Mojave) are only a few hours drive.
We have major supermarkets, movie theaters, and restaurants minutes from the house.

This was our first vacation renting a home. We had an awesome time. It was much better than renting a hotel or motel. The home was cute and comfortable. It was decorated for Halloween and the decorations were great for the kids. I will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful 6-day stay at the 3-bedroom Barclay House (5 minutes drive from the Theme Parks) in Anaheim. We shared the house with our daughter, her husband and 3 boys (15, 12 and 10) and found it very clean, bright, spacious, on a quiet cul-de-sac and enjoyed the exceptionally pleasant landscaping in the front and back yards. The house layout afforded privacy for our individual families but togetherness for meals and coming together each evening for relaxing. Accommodations include a nice kitchen with stove, microwave and appropriate extra appliances (toaster, coffeemaker) . We never had occasion to "eat out" during our stay which fulfilled our purpose of renting a house and doing our own cooking. The owners of the home, Jon and Judy, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We recommend this lovely home.

We rented both houses for a total of 24 people and found the location and the properties to be excellent for our needs. The houses are well stocked and maintained and the owners are very helpful with local information and in accommodating requests. We would recommend these properties for anyone with families or groups. The properties rental costs are reasonable for the L.A. area (which we found to be expensive overall).

We are so glad we found this place. My wife and I were searching the Internet one night for a hotel near Disneyland and all of a suddenly thought about rental homes. We found and stayed in the 4 bedroom (Barclay house) for 3 nights with our 3 children and 2 young grandchildren, while going to Disneyland Parks and the beach. This is so close to everything, including great shopping. We all, including our 6 and 8 year old grandkids, immediately felt at home here. Much better than an hotel! Jon and Judy are wonderful hosts, both before and during our stay, answering all our questions, directing us to the beach and even lending us beach toys for the kids. They helped make our mini-vacation a very memorable experience for our family. If we have the need in the future, we will definitely stay here again. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a home to stay. Thank you Jon and Judy!

We stayed in the three bedroom home. Renting this house was the best thing we ever did. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Coming home at night was like being at HOME, relax and enjoy the evening. Our two children had so much fun and were not stuck in a hotel room, space to play and unwind after being at the parks. We would come back anytime, clean with a beautiful yard. Thanks so much for opening up your home to us.

I recently stayed in the Barclay House with my two daughters (19 and 22) and their girlfriend (22). Though it was only a short 5 night stay, we really enjoyed our time there in the comfortable and spacious surroundings. Jon and Judy were there on the few occasions when we needed any help, and were both kind and courteous at all times. I hope to visit S. In 2006 I was put to the test with traveling with 9 family members for 3 weeks in California. Jon & Judy's 3 bedroom vacation rental was the correct answer for the week we were going to be in Anaheim! Positively 100% worth it. Clean, cozy, yet plenty of room for 9 of us, had everything you could imagine. The neighborhood was great, it was so close to shopping, including Disneyland. It was truely home away from home, plus! I would recommend it to everyone and we plan on staying again. Thanks
