Year Purchased: 2000
We decided to buy our vacation home here because we love Aspen at all times of the year. We are inspired by the beauty of the mountains-we love to ski them in the winter and hike them in the summer. We love the breadth of culture available from the Aspen Music Festival, The Aspen Institute, The Jazz Festival, The Film Festival, Food and Wine. We enjoy hiking, biking, horsebackriding, rafting-all the things that are hard to a NYC veterinarian (Amy) and lawyer (Steve)to do. Then we love that in the evenings we can enjoy a delicious meal and concert just like we do at home. It's a perfect combination which is why we think it is a mountain paradise.

We love the combination of spectacular mountains, outdoor sports, sophisticated living and intellectual stimulation that only Aspen provides.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We enjoyed Thanksgiving here with our entire family. We went by horse drawn sleigh to lunch at Woody Creek Taveern and then on Thanksgiving day, after a blizzard like snow fall (which we enjoyed from the outdoor hot tub overlooking the Highlands) we warmed up in front of the fire and enjoyed a world class meal prepared for our family and served in a private room by the chef. It was something we will all remember for the rest of our lives.
