It’s called the magic of Shelter! We first experienced it in 1992 when visiting friends and felt the magic the moment we stepped off the ferry. A year later we bought our Shelter Island gem! And it was the best thing we ever did.
Having lived in the chaos of New York City for years, we found peace of mind 80 miles east in what many proudly call the “un-Hamptons”… a place that exudes natural creativity and inspiration, an environment that provides an instant dose of tranquility and relaxation. We looked all over Shelter for perfection, and found it nestled in one of the most pristine parts of the island.
