NOTE* because this bedroom IS located in the LOFT area the hight of this bedroom has been measured and is 65" aprox 5' 4" you can only stand near the head of the bed area that is 76 " aprox 6' 3"
The Second bedroom below the open loft bedroom, behind french doors next to large living room has a trundle bed that opens to two twin beds OR when put together will convert into a King size bed.. This room also has a lower ceiling than the average bedroom. it's doorway is 6 FT high and the room itself is 79" aprox 6'5" High.
This bedroom also includes an Armoire, Dresser, oversized chair, an area rug and nice sized closet as well.

My Name is Therese and I have lived in New Your City for the past 25 years. I have worked doing hair and make up for film and television and just LOVE New York City. My work has given me the privilege of traveling and working all over the U.S. as well as all over the World and NO PLace compares to Manhattan New York. Living just steps from Central Park is an added plus because it is like having the best and biggest back yard ever just without all of the weeding. You can never be bored or uninspired here,
Theatre, restaurants,Museums, are all just steps away. The energy and people here are addictive and I hope you will find it as enjoyable and contagious as I have.

We arranged a Broadway night in Nov and our family gathered from 4 states and we stayed here. What a wonderful visit it was. We were able to relax and break off into small groups within the space: something NO HOTEL offers. The balcony was a great asset, as the weather was gorgeous, so some of our student family members studied outside. NY is just not the same when one cannot feel at home, and you gave us that chance. Lovely place. I really recommend it.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Our family of four enjoyed a fabulous couple of weeks in NYC over Christmas New Year and this small but beautifully appointed apartment proved to be a terrific home away from home. Located in the Upper West Side at the back of the old mansion of which it's part, it was a warm and blissfully quiet retreat at the end of each day. And it really is well located, especially for Central Park, the 1, B & C subway lines (for all things up, mid and down-town) and the cross-town bus to the Upper East Side (we love the MET!). Our thanks to Therese for a wonderful place to stay in Manhattan. We'll be in touch again next time we're in NY :-)
