You will experience a newly (interior) remodeled home. The fully remodeled master bedroom has a private newly remodeled shower.
Nearby amenities include the historic location of the first ever McDonalds, The Rockwell location of where the Apollo space rockets of the 60' s that landed on the moon and the first Space Shuttles were built (Now the famous Downey Movie Studios where many TV programs and Movies like Transformers were made). Downey is also the home of the The Carpenters.
This home is 2 blocks from the Rio Hondo Country Club Golf Course. It's centrally located between all major highways that lead to Downtown LA, The nearby Sierra Madre Mountains for Snow Skiing, All major beaches such as, Long Beach (Queen Mary), Sunset Beach, Huntington Beach, Santa Monica, Redondo Beach, Venice, Malibu and Laguna.
If you want to remain local to home then it is less than 1 mile to the Stonewood Shopping Center, and the quaint downtown which offers several restaurants, Bars, boutiques and the Krikorian Theaters all 2 blocks away, walking distance.
Anything you need (Markets, fast food etc.) is no more than 2 blocks away and yet when you are back at home, you feel the serenity of being far from all major commerce. Cleaning fee with pets- $150.00 weekly fee for 2 dogs.

I am a resident of Downey CA, since 1990. I live and have my own business in this town as well. I am in the Insurance/Real Estate Field. I also just started a Dog walking service (WWW.DEEOGEEWALKINGSERVICE.COM) I have an 11 year young son who is into piano and tennis. I love my Downey because it offers beauty and is centrally located to all the hot spots. My home is a cross of eclectic with a touch of modern. If you are looking for a romantic get away, you just found your spot. My home is also versatile to families and dog lovers.

I chose Downey as a vacation location because it offers beauty, peace and most of all that it is so centrally located. You get to step away from serenity and into the day/night life and come back to that one place that you can find peace and quite. If you are looking for a house to stay in then you should keep looking because this little piece of love is a HOME, not just a house.
The Unique Benefits of this House
When I stay in my property, the unique benefits it offers is that it is a very safe neighborhood, the area is in an area that is called "Orange Estates". Back in the old days, Downey was pure Orange Groves and that is where it's name came from. On evening strolls you can find your self breathing in the sweet scent of oranges. Sweet orange's gentle, clarifying nature cheers the heart and brightens the mood. this sensuous scent sure makes the afternoon strolls worth it.
