This panoramic lake view Tahoe ski lease and rental is located in Agate Bay and has qualities not often found in a rental house. The home features indoor hot tub room with slate floors and french doors all opening to the big view, large river rock fireplace, custom kitchen that a chef would appreciate with hand carved oak cabinets with a large chopping block island, separate family room with leather couch with chairs and wood stove, fenced side yard, free high speed wireless internet, and a large wrap around deck. There are 3 TV's and DVD's in the home and every bedroom has an unobstructed lake view.
This home is located on a charming private road and in Agate Bay an area of North Lake Tahoe (in-between Tahoe City and Kings Beach) which is sought after for summer and winter vacations. Great shopping nearby as well as gaming, ski areas, shows, and wonderful restaurants.
During the summer months guests have access to a shared pier, buoys (as available by reservation), community swimming pool, grassy lawn area with snack bar, sand volleyball court, and tennis courts. The pool is open from mid-June to Labor Day. NOT ALL AGATE BAY HOMES HAVE FULL ACCESS TO THESE FACILITIES BUT THIS HOME HAS ACCESS TO EVERYTHING.

For winter enthusiasts, Agate Bay is surrounded Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Mt. Rose, and Diamond Peak ski resorts. Cross country skiing is also excellent as well as areas to view the lake while snowshoeing. Discount lift tickets are available for Northstar, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley (Save $9-$11 per ticket).

This lake view Tahoe rental and ski lease home is fully equipped with free high speed wireless internet, linens, bath towels equal to the maximum occupancy of the house, spa towels, pot/pans, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, TV's & DVD's, washer & dryer, and barbeque. The house will also provide a starter set of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

Year Purchased: 1978
We built this home, instead of buying one, so the home could be exactly the way we wanted it. We wanted every room to have a lakeview, we wanted an indoor hot tub (why get cold?) with french doors that open up to the lake, and we wanted a very open floor plan so everyone could be involved in the conversation.
Why the Owner Chose Agate Bay
We enjoyed the "family" atmosphere of Agate Bay. We also liked being in between Kings Beach and Tahoe City so we had quick access to stores, restaurants, etc.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This used to be our primary residence so the property is equipped as a home and not a "rental." It will not take you long to settle in to "Tahoe time." Whether it be the moon rises over the lake at night, the sunrises or sunsets, or just relaxing at the home, the lake views will always remind you that you are in Tahoe.
