If you need additional space on Fripp Island, check out our other great properties by logging onto these vrbo sites: 726 SeaHorse at #135458; Magnolia Manor at 101 Ocean Point at #179511; 619 Dolphin at #119240; 527 SunSuite at #256242; or 504 SunSuite at #256534. We would be delighted to have you as our guest at any of our properties.
Most vacations last about 7 days, but a week at Fripp Island comes with enough memories to last a lifetime. There’s 3.5 miles of unspoiled, un-crowded white beach just waiting for your footprints in the sand. And when you want to take a break in the pool there are seven to choose from. During the summer season our Beach Rental Hut has cabana umbrellas, beach chairs and boogie boards for your pleasure. You can even get up a game of volleyball in front of the Beach Club.
The natural beauty of Fripp Island is legendary. From the lush subtropical scenes in the “Jungle Book” and 'Forest Gump” to the romantic ocean vistas in the “Price of Tides”, the images of Fripp Island will stay in your mind forever. Some 400 families of deer, raccoons and alligators live in perfect harmony with the residents of the island. And where the land meets the sea, the endangered Loggerhead Turtles return each year to lay their eggs along the dune line.
Tennis at Fripp Island is a year round sport. The Racquet Club with 8 Fast-Dry clay courts and two hard courts is directly across the street from the beach and part of the Beach Club complex. If your passion is water sports, you can explore the backwaters and creeks surrounding our island in one of our kayaks or canoes. The resort has so many rental toys you may want to stay an extra week just for the shear fun of it. Golf carts are the preferred method of transportation among guests on the island and can be rented by the week, day or hour. Biking is a great way to explore the island along miles of trails that connect you with every part of the resort. If mopeds are your thing, you can do your sightseeing at 25 mph.
The activity center is the focal point of all the great social programs on the island like “Meet the Animals.' Kids will never forget their first experience at Camp Fripp. If you are 3-12 years old, it’s the most fun you can have with your sneakers on! Each day is themed and ranges from Pirates of Skull Creek to Wild, Wild West and Mad Scientist Day.
If fishing is your passion, you’ll love coming here. Offshore fishing with our experienced charter guides can be arranged at the Marina Store. The Gulf Stream is abundant with sailfish, mahi-mahi, barracuda, kingfish, grouper and snapper. Inshore fishing for flounder, trout, drum and tarpon is popular around the island. The Marina hosts a number of fishing tournaments in the spring, summer and falland expert guide service connections. At the end of the day, take a Sunset Cruise on our 49 foot pontoon boat or come early for the 2-hour Dolphin Cruise.
Two of the most spectacular golf courses in America are right here on Fripp Island. Ocean Point, a true seaside links course boasts dramatic views of the ocean or inlet on 10 of the 18 holes. On the south end of the island is Ocean Creek, Davis Love III’s first signature course. Ocean Creek offers magnificent panoramic views of the Great Salt Marsh and freshwater lakes with four distinctive rolling dune line that come into play.
Do you still need more things to do? Try Hunting Island State Park located just before Fripp Island. Hunting Island is the home for a real light house which is awesome to see and explore. Beaufort, SC itself is a very friendly bay town of the old south. It offers many fine restaurants and hours of good looking and shopping its many quaint walkways and southern shops. Beaufort also has a newly finished river walk that people of all ages can enjoy.
Hope you will come and stay at FRIPP ISLAND and enjoy our wonderful BEACH HOUSE Paradise!

This home is absolutely gorgeous! Plenty of room, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Fripp island is a bit of paradise that we do hope to visit again. For USMC families staying for graduation, it's about a 25 minute drive to the base. We had Lori at Islander Home and Pet check on our furry girls while we were at family day. She was amazing! I highly recommend her and a stay at this home. I hope the owners post more pics of the master bath and view from the spacious back deck. Thanks so much for the welcome basket also!

We loved this beach home!
We loved this beach home!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home at Fripp Island with my family! We had a spectacular week on the canal ... we were all surprised at how much nicer the place is than your vrbo pictures made it look. My favorite part of the home begins at the back door and extends from the huge back deck where we ate most of our meals (under palm trees and a canopy of live oaks with hanging Spanish moss - incredible!), down the steps to the walkway out to the dock on the canal. Frequently during the day, there were as many as 4 deer feeding in the backyard. During the evenings, we sat and listened as the waves crashed on the beach - while you do not have ocean view, the ride on the golf cart was about 3 minutes to the beach - and you can hear the surf as if it were right in front of you. Each room has its own bathroom - and every one was extremely nice (the master bath is over the top!) - the type of bathrooms you find in a very upscale hotel. You will not be the least bit disappointed by a decision to spend a week or a month or a summer at this home. The owners have provided everything you will need and the island is just the best place for a family vacation that we have found. This was about our 10th different home on Fripp during our many years of visiting, and we loved everything about it. Thank you! Matt Columbia, SC
