Our one-bedroom, one-bathroom Paris apartment is a beautifully remodeled 600-square-foot property located in a modern building only three blocks from the Eiffel Tower and Champs de Mars Gardens! You can see the very top of the Eiffel from the living room, bedroom and kitchen. Recently remodeled, enjoy a comfortable home in the heart of Paris. Step outside each morning and walk to Paris museums, monuments, shopping and to the beautiful Seine River. The apartment offers air conditioning, a rare plus in Paris.
Enter an elegant modern building finished in white marble; cross to a small garden which forms the center of the apartment complex. Take a large elevator to the third floor and step into the Paris Perfect apartment that we call Sauvignon, named for the delicious grape that is the basis for many excellent French wines.
Enter the apartment entryway, where you’ll find an antique desk and mirror on your right, toilet on your left and kitchen just beyond. We offer free high speed internet and free phone calls to most locations throughout the world, a huge convenience. Set your computer up and call your family or catch up on emails during your stay.
The long kitchen has just been remodeled and features cherry wood cabinets and deep gray counter tops. Find everything you need to cook a feast: a large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, convection oven, dishwasher, espresso maker, drip coffee maker, toaster and all dishes and cooking utensils. The kitchen has large windows with a view of the tip of the Eiffel, a half round table and 2 bar stools to eat at. French pictures decorate the walls to create a fresh country look.
Step into the spacious living room with sofa and armchairs on your left and large glass windows that offer excellent light. The long window seat has comfortable cushions in dark gray, where you can relax and enjoy the view of the very top of the Eiffel Tower. The living room is meant for comfort, featuring a long sofa where you can stretch out and nap during the day. The sofa converts to 2 comfortable single beds at night, a trundle bed that pulls out from underneath. The mattresses are on wooden slats, and were designed for every night sleeping. Watercolors of Provence grace the red wall behind the sofa, adding an accent of color.
Facing the sofa are two original art deco armchairs that make you want to sink into them at the end of a long day of walking. Behind is a leather console table with flat screen TV and stereo system and DVD player. The DVD player is multi standard so you can bring your favorite movies to enjoy.
To the right of the living room is a round sanded glass dining table by Bontempi with four chocolate brown leather dining chairs. Black and white photos of Paris hang on one wall and a beautiful Italian picture of an antique candelabra design on the other. You’ll enjoy warm meals with family and friends during your stay, especially enjoying the foods and delicacies from the nearby open air food market on Blvd de Grenelle. The market is famous for excellent foods brought in fresh from the French countryside.
Beyond the living room is the large bedroom, decorated in charming French antique style. Straight ahead is a French dresser with Venetian mirror. A beautiful painting of a French woman from the 19th century is on the left, facing the comfortable bed. The bed is a dual king with zip-together high quality mattresses, so it can be made up as singles or as a king. Large windows overlook the surrounding modern buildings and high above you can see the tip of the Eiffel Tower. You’ll enjoy the night view best, when the Tower softly glows against the night sky and then starts to sparkle on the hour for its magic light show. Or cross the street and view the site in all its glory every night!
To the right of the bedroom is the bathroom with bathtub/shower combination and dual sinks on a dark wood stand.
The neighborhood is ideal as there is a small supermarket next door, one of our favorite pastry shops across the street, a greengrocer, butcher and loads of excellent brasseries and restaurants. Nearby you’ll find the famous rue de Commerce which is chock full of fashion boutiques and food stores. Cross the Champs de Mars to the sought-after rue Cler, rue St. Dominique and all the museums and monuments on the Left Bank. Cross the river to the famous Ave. Montaigne where the Four Seasons and couturiers are located. You’ll love this central base in Paris at a very reasonable price.

I was working in London and met my husband Philippe, who was working as a cardiac surgeon in Paris. We bought our first apartment in Paris, our friends and family loved staying there for the fantastic location and views -- walking distance to cafe's, landmarks and wonderful shops. They loved the experience of living like a Parisian, shopping in the nearby open air markets for the freshest foods, buying warm baguettes next door, enjoying cafe' au lait on the balcony, eating at affordable brasseries and restaurants that Parisians go to around the corner. They asked if they could rent our pied a' terre when we were away and our Paris apartment rentals business began! Philippe left medicine for business and we commute between London and Paris on the Eurostar and have two great children who are French and American citizens... and who always correct my French grammar!

"This was our first visit to Paris and we loved staying at the Sauvignon! The apartment and the neighborhood met all our needs. We enjoyed the views of the Eiffel Tower from the apartment as it sparkled each night. We found it very easy to navigate the city using the metro which is only a few blocks away. The apartment felt like home for the week and we looked forward to returning to it after our long days of touring. We absolutely plan on returning to Paris some day, and when we do, we will certainly book our accomodations through Paris Perfect."
