VRBO special! Cabernet apartment in Paris has unforgettable views of the Eiffel Tower from both the living room and the balcony. This one-bedroom, two-bath apartment in Paris is ideal for up to four people who wish to experience the joys of living like a Parisian in the prized 7th arrondissement, home to diplomats, famous performers, and even Princess Caroline of Monaco. It is also the perfect place to ‘pop the question,’ spend your honeymoon, or celebrate your anniversary while the 20,000 lights of the Eiffel Tower sparkle in front of you — simply magical and unforgettable!
And living in the much sought-after 7th arrondissement is the best way to experience Paris. This friendly, village-like neighborhood is chock full of cafés, restaurants, shops, and museums, all within easy walking distance. You can stroll around beautiful Champ de Mars park and the Eiffel Tower right across the street, or head across the nearby Seine river to shop the most famous labels in the world on Avenue Montaigne: Hermes, Dior, Prada, Gucci, Calvin Klein, and many, many more! Or hop on the nearby metro or one of the buses that stop right across the street from your apartment in Paris to explore Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre, the Bon Marche department store on Blvd St. Germain, or any of the other famous sights across Paris.
Step off the elevator and enter the small entryway of our totally remodeled apartment in Paris. The modern kitchen is immediately to the right and features polished granite countertops and beautiful cherry wood cabinets. Adding to its ambiance is a large window overlooking the Paris rooftops that also brings in lots of natural light. Here you’ll find every modern appliance necessary along with all of the high-quality utensils, cookware, and serving pieces needed to prepare gourmet meals.
The first bathroom is next on the right, beautifully tiled in beige limestone and featuring a glass-enclosed shower with both fixed and flexible showerheads, sink, mirrored medicine cabinet, toilet, and halogen lights. We’ve equipped this apartment in Paris with an 80-gallon hot water tank, a rarity in France, and you’ll also find a hairdryer and lots of plush white towels.
Next is the piece de resistance of our apartment in Paris, the large living room fronted by a balcony and straight-on views of the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars park. The room faces west for plenty of sunshine and fabulous sunsets. Two sets of French doors lead out to the balcony where you’ll find a round marble bistro table and chairs, perfect for enjoying your croissants and café au lait every morning and toasting the twinkling Eiffel Tower with a glass of wine every evening. These simple things, along with watching the day unfold below you — parents walking their children to school, neighbors buying their morning and evening baguettes, friends meeting for an espresso at the corner café — are truly special and make for memories of a lifetime!
Step back into the living room, which is actually two rooms that we opened up to create a more comfortable and pleasing living area, and notice the beautiful oak parquet floors, the original decorative ceiling moldings, and the white marble fireplace. Here also is a Louis Philippe-style daybed that easily converts to two comfortable twin beds or a dual king at night. There is also an antique writing table where guests can sit and work with the free wireless ADSL line for their computer, a TV with DVD player, and a CD sound system. The beech wood dining table that expands to seat up to six is the perfect venue for fine dining. With the famous Rue Cler market street and many open markets close by, preparing meals in your state-of-the-art kitchen is a delight and a formidable cost savings over staying at a hotel.
The master bedroom of our apartment in Paris is behind the living room and offers twin beds that also can made up as a dual king. The large window overlooks the quiet inner courtyard, but it’s worth mentioning here that all of the windows and French doors are new and provide excellent sound and thermal insulation. You’ll also find a safe to store your valuables.
The en suite master bathroom of our apartment in Paris has a full fixed shower, French beige limestone walls, and a limestone countertop with a basin sink set below a mirrored medicine cabinet.
We leave lots of Paris guidebooks for you to peruse during your stay.

Bonjour! From The Eiffel Tower!

This elegant one bedroom apartment is superbly located in Paris’ 6th Arrondissement, where upscale boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants are abundant. The day we arrived, our host was ready and waiting for us with a smile. She was very gracious with her time and gave us a walk through tour of the apartment before handing the keys over. We found her to be very helpful and told us we could call her any time for any questions or concerns we had.
After seeing pictures of this getaway, I knew it would be beautiful but pictures just don’t do justice. "Luxury" is the best word I can use to explain the ambiance, with its stylish furnishings and awesome views of the Eiffel Tower from your private balcony, so close can almost reach out and touch it!
This owner has put much thought and detail into making your stay special. Guide books, reading books and DVD movies are provided for lazy, rainy days or a night in. There was a wonderful homemade notebook filled with maps, restaurant and tour suggestions. WiFi internet is also provided for those who brought their laptop. A complimentary gift basket was provided. It included a bottle of wine, milk, orange juice, snack biscuits and a beautiful baguette bag.
The kitchen is very modern with cherry wood cabinets & granite counter tops, complete with a dishwasher, cooking supplies, utensils and a fun espresso machine. Even the espresso pods are provided! The light filled living room has large, French style windows and beautifully finished wood floors. The room is tastefully decorated with hand selected, upscale Victorian furnishings, a marble surrounded fireplace and several decorative pieces and wall art collected from local flea markets and chic boutiques in the area. The master bedroom is decorated in white and lavender for a clean and cheerful feeling and furnished with a king-size bed made up of two twin-size beds (could be separated if needed). The ensuite bathroom also has top quality fixtures.
I found this retreat to be the perfect setting for my "honey" and I to spend our Paris vacation together. This apartment is clean, lavish and highly recommended to all.

Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 7
We tried many Paris neighborhoods over the years and living in an apartment in the 7th arrondissement in Paris offered the best access to everything we love and enjoy! Step outside and enjoy café’ au lait on rue Cler on a sunny morning, stroll to Paris landmarks, museums and monuments, to world class shopping on the Right Bank, to the Orsay Museum, the Louvre, Rodin Museum, Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Grand Palais, American Library. Take morning walks, picnics & bike rides in the Champs de Mars gardens, to romantic walks home along the river at sunset. It’s a beautiful old quartier near the romantic Seine that has maintained a village-like atmosphere, surrounded by bistros and shops so you can step outside and savor life. It's one of the safest arrondissements in Paris; it offers more open air markets than any arrondissement in Paris. It costs more to invest in the 7th, but to us, it is worth every penny. We greet our butcher, baker and local cheese specialist daily. They know what our favorite cheeses are and make favorite suggestions. They know the exact kind of baguette we want each day, not too brown and crusty for soft cheese. That is what we have been lucky enough to find in our neighborhood and we hope you’ll have a chance to enjoy the same special lifestyle.
Owner's Map of Paris Arrondissement 7
I was an American banker in London and met my husband Philippe, who was a cardiac surgeon in Paris. We bought our first apartment in Paris, our friends and family loved staying there for the fantastic location and views -- walking distance to cafe's, landmarks and wonderful shops. They loved the experience of living like a Parisian, shopping in the nearby open air markets for the freshest foods, buying warm baguettes next door, enjoying cafe' au lait on the balcony, eating at affordable brasseries and restaurants that Parisians go to around the corner. They asked if they could rent our pied a' terre when we were away and our Paris apartment rentals business began! Philippe left medicine for business and we commute between London and Paris on the Eurostar and have two great children who are French and American citizens... and who always correct my French grammar!
