What's a perfect vacation all about? RELAXATION, family, friends and did we say RELAXATION! Di-SEA-ti Downtime is an immaculate 9 bedroom, semi-oceanfront, "south-seas" meticulously decorated, spectacular home. Truly, it will "take you away" the moment you set foot in the door...
Enjoy the views on one of the many decks; watch the porpoise play in the Atlantic, watch the sunrise or sunset, see the kids in the pool or playing volleyball or observe the Corolla lighthouse light up the evening. Stargazing is a must...who can find the Big Dipper?
Enjoy the spacious, open kitchen with it's upgraded appliances and two granite prep islands...perfect for group cooking. The elevator provides easy grocery unloading and is quite helpful with the elderly folks in the group. Two huge dining tables in the adjacent great room, plus a "breakfast bar" in the kitchen, easily accommodate all of the guests wanting to enjoy a meal together. Previous guests say it's the best equipped kitchen of any home they've stayed in.
Family competitions? The "game is on" in the large game room, with pool table, large screen TV and kitchenette. The pool w/kiddie pool, hot tub, private volleyball court, basketball hoop and bar-be-que are only steps away. Outdoor BOSE speakers help fill the air with your favorite tunes.
Want some quiet time? This immense home is perfect for "getting away". Each of the 8 master suites have a private bath and TV; several have private decks. The smaller kids, of course, will enjoy their week long "slumber party" in the bunk bedroom!
Enjoy a quiet stroll along the clean, wide, white sand beach accessed from the walkway just a short distance away (approx 1-2 minute walk). Beach combing can bring some real treasures...seahorses and sand dollars have been found! Take a bike ride, rent a canoe, go surfing or play 18 holes. Visit the nearby Whalehead Club on the Currituck Sound for an exquisite sunset photo op. Rent a Jeep and drive along the nearby "four wheel drive" beach to see the wild ponies and visit Penny's Hill for some "sand-dune surfing".
Quaint shopping abounds in both Duck and Corolla. TRY to get a reservation at the Blue Point Grill, written up in Gourmet magazine...the food is unbelievable! The spa at the Sanderling is top notch!
