PICNIC BY THE LAKE... A 300 foot waterfront area of Green Lake shared by our small neighborhood community association is available for a variety of water sports. The waterfront area includes a 30 foot swim dock in a roped off area that has a shallow sandy bottom. Anchor your boat near the community boat dock for easy access (arrangements for a boat mooring can be made in advance). The waterfront is only a short 5 minute walk through the scenic wooded neighborhood.
The cottage has very ample accommodations for up to eight guests with 3 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Select a room that nurtures or inspires you. The Master Bedroom suite has a light airy décor, with a king sized bed and large closets & attached large bathroom containing an oversized tub, and separate shower area.
The Tuscany Bedroom has a woodsy décor with a Queen size sleigh bed. The Art Deco room has two Twin beds and a dressing area. The two beds can be made into one King-size bed.
The home feels very new-- clean--bright and restful.

Redecorated throughout, the indoors has new flooring, carpeting and furniture. There is a dining and game room, A spacious living area with vaulted ceilings for relaxing and conversation. The cottage also includes five televisions w/cable, some w/VCR or DVD.
Outdoors you are welcomed to an open patio with comfortable seating for relaxing. Dining table and chairs can be arranged for a family gathering or for drinks and dinner outdoors. Leelanau County is known for its many fine wines that it produces. Take a local wine country tour and discover your new favorite wine. Leelanau Wine Tasting Festival is in June.
Canoeing, Kayaking, Tubing, adventures are available nearby on the Betsie, Platte and Big Manistee rivers.

This was a wonderful place to rent. The owners were very nice and great about recommending things in the area. We came up for the weekend of Sept. 16,2011 and had a wonderful time. From the outside the house looks small, but is quite large on the inside. The house is furnished beautifully,the beds were comfortable and the atmosphere was very inviting. Everything was very clean. It was nice to have two tables to choose from, one very large that we could all fit around with board and card games. We used the fire pit on the patio and drank hot chocolate and sang songs around the fire under the beautiful starlit sky. The water pressure was a little low, but the water stayed hot and we had five people showering so you can't ask for more than that. It was nice to have a washer and dryer and all the appliances were clean and in good condition. I am recommending this to all my friends as an very reasonably priced rental in the Grand Traverse area and can't wait to come back myself.

Six adults rented this charming refuge for a week and enjoyed the numerous amenities offered. Lots of extras such as games, tv's in bedrooms, lots of towels, homey touches and great trails for both walking and accessing the Interlochen Academy. The owners were very pleasant and we highly recommend this comfortable home.
