This large house has a living room with fireplace, wet bar, and balcony. Dining room with fireplace, kitchen, and a second floor master suite with private balcony.
Three other bedrooms over looking Lake Michigan. Two of which have a porch with sharing bathroom. And another is second floor loft with king bed.
Finished lower level with windows features 4th bedroom with private bath. Laundry room. Sauna. This house has huge porch with outside furniture and fire pit, with sitting area in the backyard. Private stairs leads down the bluff to Lake Michigan private 100 feet beach.
All you need is to bring your towels and bathing. Linens will be provided. All kitchen cooking utensils are included. Super clean and comfortable surroundings! House futures two plasma TV.
Everything has been maintained meticulously with love and attention by the owners and the caretakers. This is a year round house available all year.
Plenty of fresh fruit stands, farms, and local wineries with great wine within minutes to visit and enjoy. Only two hours from Chicago! This is the place to relax and escape!

The home was clean and well maintained. If you sleep in the lower level it was on the chilly side and needed warm blankets. The heater/furnance made a humming noise throught the night. Probably most enjoyable time would be during the spring or summer time so you can enjoy the beach.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Beautiful house, beautiful setting, beautiful view. Plenty of room for a crowd. Pleasantly surprised by the new cabana area and three firepits, 2 up top and 1 beachside, all with plenty of seating, none of which is pictured or mentioned on the site. The kitchen was stocked well enough with both serving and cooking ware and appliances. Easy ride into St, Joe and its great downtown. (The children's museum was fun for ages 3-12) Downsides are few. The biggest being the number of steps down to the beach - 170+ and steep. Children were only mildly tired (including the fittest teens) but unsafe for toddlers and elderly relatives who stopped by to visit were unable to navigate them and therefor unable to get to the beach. Smaller inconveniences included a lack of washcloths and hand towels for the bathrooms, inadequate supply of toilet paper, dish and laundry soap and one very slow coffee pot. We would definitely stay here again and just may do so.
