John Lugar's photo/design studio is the centerpiece of this large and magnificent property, and his TWO on site GUEST HOUSES offer privacy and luxury AT A PRICE EQUAL TO OR LESS THAN ENTRY-LEVEL RESORT ROOMS OR CLAUSTROPHOBIC CONDOS.
Think of John as your personal concierge, available for your every need, but otherwise quietly invisible. This GUARANTEES that your GUEST HOUSE, the pool and the spacious grounds, are dedicated to your privacy and singular enjoyment.
Each GUEST HOUSE is perfect for singles, two friends, or a couple. Both GUEST HOUSES can accommodate up to four friends or two couples looking to get away together.
The spacious DETACHED GUEST HOUSE STUDIO is outfitted with a convenient kitchenette, dining area, comfy Cal King bed and plenty of storage and work space to finish that novel, screenplay, begin your photographic exploration of the desert, or just "chill". Double French Doors overlook the patio, large pool, and expansive park-like grounds with olive trees and statuesque ficus topiaries bordering the entire back yard.
For those seeking larger accommodations, the 1000 square foot ATTACHED GUEST HOUSE has a private entrance, living/media room, large master bedroom and bath, with Cal King bed and tiled double shower. There is also a private dining room and full kitchen with washer/dryer.
Both GUEST HOUSES are cheerfully furnished with colorful and hip minimalist decor and glorious desert sunlight abounds. The home owner rotates his own photography throughout both GUEST HOUSES for your enjoyment.
Situated at the end of a PEACEFUL and QUIET cul-de-sac near Vista Chino and Indian Canyon, yet only two blocks walking distance to the "hot" new Riviera Hotel and Spa, Billy Reed's, Toucans, Rick's, and Dink's Ultra Lounge and Restaurant.
Just minutes away from WORLD's GYM, Warm Sands, Arenas and all the other good things that the desert offers the discriminating and adventurous traveler.
Either GUEST HOUSE (take one or both, if you like) is PERFECT for WRITERS, ARTISTS, and others seeking a SERENE and CONTEMPLATIVE DESERT RETREAT.
These accommodations have been conceived as a NON-SMOKING, CLEAN AND SOBER, SAFE AND SANE ENVIRONMENT, so the GUEST HOUSES are not for partiers. RESPONSIBLE social drinkers, however, are always WELCOME.

Guests staying in the DETACHED GUEST HOUSE Studio are welcome to bring one medium sized, friendly, well behaved, housebroken dog to run around and play in the enormous grassy back yard with RUSTY (9 yr old female Shiba Inu mix) and JAKE (2 year old Chow/Retriever mix) No cats, please.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Weekend guests are cordially invited to attend the weekly Saturday night film salon in the owner's on-site Photo/Design Studio. An elegant dinner is followed by the screening and discussion of a classic film. This is a great opportunity to meet some of the desert's most interesting people, many of whom have been involved in film, theatre, and the arts.
