The Yellow House Landrum is a lovingly restored and appointed 100-year old Craftsman Cottage in the heart of Horse Country. The master bath has an antique soaking tub and "typhoon" shower, and in European tradition, all bedrooms have their own sink! Dining room, living room, eat-in kitchen and large deck with gazebo.
There is ample off-street parking on over an acre of land, resplendent with large shade trees. The quiet park across the street has a beautiful walking trail with work-out stations for fitness buffs!
Downtown restaurants, shops, and antiquing are an easy two-block stoll away. Landrum is the start of the "String of Pearls", a scenic drive into the Blue Ridge Mountains up route #176 to Asheville, a lovely daytrip. Visit Biltmore, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Flatrock, Blowing Rock, Tryon, Saluda, Hendersonville, and more. Visit wineries or go tubing on the Green River. Travel the back roads and take in the beauty of all the horse farms for which the area is known. Spend a day at FENCE (less than 2 miles away) or Harmon Field (7 miles) and take in a horse show or other event, or golf at one of our many fine courses. Spend an evening at a local auction, or one of the area's many festivals. There is always something happening!
Rendezvous with friends or take your family, the Yellow House Landrum is a great place to stay!

- Gazebo: Lovely gazebo adjoins back deck, with copper "running horse" weathervane at top. Has a glider loveseat and adirondack chairs, ceiling fan. Wonderful for morning coffee or evening refreshments.

- WiFi (Wireless Internet): Wifi available at Coach House Cafe (2 blocks)- have homemade ice cream or delicious sandwiches while you work. Or use the Library's PC just minutes away for quick checks of your email, browsing.
