what a pleasant surprise, the house was incredible, larger than we imagined, very clean on quiet street right by the ocean. Lots to do in the area, very nice beach a short drive or bike ride away. Beds were very comfortable and everything we could possibly want was right there. Didn't have a chance to use the kayaks as the weather was raining the day we had the time to do it. We will for sure be back for a longer visit the next time we are in the area , and strongly recommend this vacation property. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.

My sister and I rented this house for a nearby wedding. Everyone loved the house, they even brought, people back from the wedding to see it. My sister thought the owner was marvelously organized and thhat the house looked professionally decorated. The owners were exceptionally gracious. We had a wonderful time! I highly reccomend this property.

Our family was very comfortable at the Sea Glass. The house has everything we needed from cooking utensils, linens, beach equipment, sporting equipment, bikes, kayaks, crabbing equipment, etc. Plus, the owners have paid attention to every detail to make for a very relaxing stay at the beach. Oh, and our kids loved the beach and water, they met several friends in the neighborhood and caught crabs every day. The twilight kayak ride we took was spectacular. We hope to come back!

Visiting Connecticut from the UK for a family holiday, we did a lot of research and struck gold with Sea Glass. The house was very homely, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was superb being close to the beach and much use was made of the kayaks and barbeque, and being Britsh, the croquet set! July 4th was quite a spectacle on the beach with fireworks all along the coastline. Stay here, you'll love it.

This beach house had everything. It was well kept and very comfortable. Location is ideal for beach lovers. Kids loved the big yard and made great use of the beach toys and bicycles in the shed. The owners graciously provided information about restaurants and other things to do in the area. Overall, this is the best place we've stayed since we started vacationing in the Old Saybrook area in 2005. We would definitely come back and recommend to friends and relatives.

Sea Glass was much better than advertised. The house was impecably clean and furnished with an eye toward comfort. It is nicely appointed with an eye toward charming details. Everything was available for our use as advertised. In fact we found more available items at our disposal which only enhanced the experience. The owner has gone out of her way to provide all that her guests could ever ask for in a rental. This is a property that should not be missed.
