Welcome to Paradise! The beautiful white sand beaches and the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico await you. Our rates are well below the resort rates.
Our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit located on the 6th floor sleeps 6. There is a king bed in the master bedroom with pillow top mattress, 2 twin beds in the guest bedroom and a very comfortable queen sleeper sofa in the family room. Our unit has wireless internet service and a new flat screen TV in the master bedroom. The Terrace at Pelican Beach and the Pelican Beach Resort are two buildings within the same resort so you can feel free to move between the two buildings and enjoy the amenities of both buildings. There are 3 pools located on the property (gulf front, lakefront, indoor/outdoor.) There is a kiddies pool for the little ones. Some of the other amenities are the onsite deli/market, fitness centers, tennis courts, video game arcade, beach umbrella and chair rental, and a tiki beach bar located only steps from the beach so you can enjoy your favorite tropical drinks. The resort also offers the Pelican Playzone which is a seasonal children's activity program that has themed kids activities planned day and night.
If it's shopping you are looking for we are only a few miles from the Silver Sands outlet mall. The newer Destin Commons shopping center is only a few stoplights away and is a huge outdoor shopping center with tons of shops, restaurants, and movie theaters. Eight miles down highway 98 is the Baytowne Wharf area. Located in Sandestin Resort it is a village like atmosphere with shops, restaurants, and kids activities.
If you are looking for adventure we are located directly across the street from the Big Kahuna Water and Adventure Park. There are over 40 water attractions, go carts, mini golf, and thrill rides. A must do for your family vacation. The unit is 300 yards from the beach with no streets to cross just a boardwalk away. There is also a tram that will pick you up at the front door if your hands are full with all of your beach necessities and take you right to the beach.
So if it is relaxing with a cold drink on the beach, playing some world class golf (there are several courses within a few miles), eating at the best seafood restaurants, or catching the "Big One" this is the place for you! Come experience what we believe is truly vacation paradise!

we have been married for 15 years and have 3 daughters and a son. Kevin has been in the telecommunications technology industry for 28 years and Tracey has been a Dental Hygienist for 22 years. Our children are very involved in sports and enjoy every aspect of the outdoors. If you ask any of them where their favorite place to vacation they would tell you our condo in Destin!
Why the Owner Chose Pelican Beach, The Terrace
We went to Destin for our honeymoon and have almost every year since. In 1999 we stayed at the Pelican building and notice they were building another building and jumped in during preconstruction. We loved the way the Terrace building was smaller and quieter than the Pelican building and that this property is in the best location and offers the best amenities. We have traveled all over the world and think that the beach and water in Destin is just as beautiful as any other place!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Our family loves to relax on the beach, skim board, wake board, rent pontoon boats and jet skis in the bay (where we always see dolphins), and enjoy hanging on the sandbar where you can stand in knee high water. We love to visit Seaside, a non motorized community and Grayton Beach where our favorite restaurant, Red Bar is. My girls have a great time at the outlet mall. Our condo is in the best location in Destin and you have a beautiful view of the beach, lake, and gorgeous houses next door.

My family really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful 2 bed ocean view condo. The listing was very descriptive and accurate. The unit and the property are well managed, attractive and inviting. The condo was very clean & inviting. We liked the tile floor in the common areas since carpet can hide a lot of dirt. This is especially important in a beach rental. There is a washer & dryer in the unit. And of course any good beach condo has a blender. This place had one as well as all the other comforts of home. Tracey was very friendly and responded quickly and courteously to all our inquiries. The bed was too soft for my taste, but my wife didn't mind it, so I guess that would be a personal preference. The location was excellent with shops within walking distance and Winn Dixie and Target within a two minute drive. And Destin has many seafood places. We found Harbor Docks over priced and over rated, but we were pleased with Dewy Destins. The full kitchen was very convenient, because we don't like to take the baby out to eat much. We had a fantastic week. Our one year old daughter started walking for the first time as soon as we walked through the door! And our 4 y/o daughter swam for the 1st time in the pool! We would heartily reccommend this unit and we hope to return some day.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
