The house is situated within walking distance of town on one of the finer streets in the village. Set on a small village lot with privacy, quiet neighbors and a beautiful perennial garden landscaped over 30 years, this charming home boasts original pumpkin pine floors and detailed woodwork, a fireplace and large dining room off a comfortable living room and a good-sized kitchen opening to the garden and patio. Two large bedrooms and one small upstairs. Den, or fourth bedroom off dining room. A border of large bamboo flanks one side of property. Year Purchased: 2006

We love the location and its proximity to the village. We spend our weekends here and travel to other parts of the world. We love gardening and our properties have great perennial gardens situated near a cove. We love the historic quality of the house and its great layout and comfort.

Why the Owner Chose Sag Harbor

We have a home on an adjacent property and had long admired the house and garden. When it came up for sale we decided to purchase it. The gardens give us great pleasure and the location is perfect for the beach, lovely village and all that Eastern Long Island has to offer.

The Unique Benefits of this House

The garden is great, as is the entire surrounding village. It is on a great street around the corner from a cove and a five minute walk to the village Main shopping street. The diversity of Sag Harbor makes it one of the more interesting villages around and it is great at any time of the year. Curling up in front the fireplace, eating in the large dining room, or enjoying the outdoor garden and yard for BBQ or quiet reading. And there's the outdoor shower.
