This house is in a great location situated right in the heart of Surfside Beach, just 1 block from the library, playground & tennis courts and 3 blocks from the ocean, Surfside Pier, restaurants, nightlife, ice cream Shoppe and much more.
We take great pride in our beach house and want families to enjoy their vacations here as much as we do. Our home was professionally decorated and furnished with all the comforts of home.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your vacation stay. Rocking chairs on the two covered porches overlooking the pool and furniture around the pool make for pleasant use of the outdoor space. Two bedrooms with King beds, one with Queen, one with Dbl + Twin and one with two Dbls.
Watch the sunrise reflecting on the ocean from the upper level porch. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan and TV.
Surfside Beach is a family beach less crowded than Myrtle Beach. You can enjoy the wide white sandy beach with lifeguards during the summer season; quiet relaxing time at the private fenced pool or the many activities the area has to offer.
Golf, shopping, water parks, miniature golf, shows & attractions are only minutes away; restaurant row in Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island are only 15 minutes away and historic Charleston is 90 miles away.
Weekly rentals May thru August start at 3pm on Saturday and check-out is the following Saturday no later than 10am. The contract signer must be 25 years of age or older and occupy the property during the rental period.

Serendipity is a great place to stay for a family vacation. Short walk to the beach. It was very hot the week we stayed and it was very nice to have our own pool to cool off it; we even played water volleyball. The house and pool are kept in immaculate condition. The owner was great to deal with and she checks in to see that all is well during your stay. We contacted the owner with an issue with the mattress in one of the bedrooms and it was replaced the next day. I highly recommend this property.

Just got back from vacation on July 27, 2011. Could not ask for a more ideal location and home. Linda was extremely in tune with every personal detail of the house and even a follow up call after we checked in to make sure we were doing ok and to answer any questions we had. The photos are truly accurate, the house is beautifully maintained and decorated. The beds are very comfortable, bedrooms/bathrooms very spacious. Loved how close the house is to the beach, pier, and dining... very short walk. Serendipity had everything we needed for a fantastic family vacation!!

Me and my family have been to Myrtle Beach several times and absolutely loved it. This year we decided to stay in a more quiet location with the grandparents and In-laws. I have never had a better time at the beach and thank goodness for a home like Serendipity to experiance Surfside. The beach is a VERY SHORT walk away and is much less crowded than the Grand Strand. The pool at Serendipity is the perfect touch after spending the day at the beach. The accomidations are absolutely perfect for you and your family and I highly recommend this property for your next vacation. The owners of this property are very responsive and make sure that you enjoy your stay. If you have luckily run accross this post go no further....BOOK THIS HOUSE! Matt

We weren't lacking for anything at Serendipity! The kids love the pool and the nearby park. The super easy walk to the beach was a snap even with 2 four year olds. The restaurants in walking distance made supper time easy. The house was large, comfortable, well decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. Linda was great to work with and made the whole process from contract to check in seamless. We highly recommend Serendipity!!

Serendipity is in an excellent location in Surfside Beach. The pictures and description accurately reflect the accommadation. We found everything to be spotless and the kitchen was well-equipped. Linda always answered my e-mails promptly and efficiently. We visited for the first time in April 2011 and the outside temperatures were cooler than we would have liked but the backyard was sunny so we were still able to enjoy the pool. We had the best burger ever at River City right on the beach just a 3 minute walk away. I would highly recommend Serendipity!

My family had the best time ever at Serendipity!!! The pictures accurately reflected the property. There were 6 adults and 5 children and the house accommodated us perfectly with room to spare with all the comforts of home. Linda was very helpful the week leading up to our trip by recommending places to go and things to do. We had so much fun at Wild Water and Wheels and Family Kingdom. The weather was perfect and the kids loved the pool. Before we unpacked the car we were making plans to return Summer 2011. I would recommend Serendipity to anyone looking to stay in Suftside Beach. Everything was perfect!!!

Stayed here during a June "Cal Ripken" week for youth baseball - about a 20 minute drive to park. House was a hit with the kids. They really enjoyed the pool. Another group of our baseball families rented the adjoining home. This home is spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything a cook needs and it all looked brand new! The homeowners truly care about the appearance of the home and making sure their renters are happy and we were!

We rented this gorgeous house along with 3 other couples and found the location and the house with pool simply wonderful. We could walk a short distance to the Surfside Pier to dine or just for a dessert treat and not have to worry about parking. Very tastefully decorated inside. Enjoyed our stay so much we hope to use it again and again! J Caulk

We stayed here for a week both in the summer of 2009 and 2010. The property was clean and well maintained with everything you need and tastefully decorated. The location is perfect, 3 blocks from the beach and pretty close to the Piggly Wiggly. The private pool was the feature we most enjoyed. On the fourth of July, we had the best seat in the house for watching the spectacular fireworks off the pier. The Surfside area is much more family-oriented and not as touristy as Myrtle Beach. The owners were helpful in answering questions and providing suggestions for attractions and local amenities. We would (and have) recommend this property to anyone needing a rental for a fairly large group.

From the moment you arrive, this place has it all! The car port is spotless and offers some beach/pool equipment to borrow during your stay. The exterior lighting is superb whether you would like a little or a lot! The pool and pool area is beautiful! The built-in ledge is wonderful to sit in the pool and read! We had many a meal sitting poolside at the table or in the lounge chairs. With a back gate this is more like ONLY a 2 block walk to the beach and some restaurants on nice sidewalks! When you walk in to Serendipity you are instantly swept away to an island retreat. The beautiful palm tree decor, sand colored tile and wicker inspired furniture truly get you in the vacation mood. The owner's photos accurately reflect the beauty in this place but it is still better in person! And the place is spotless and really well cared for! We were 2 families with a total of 9 and you could easily fit more comfortably! With 5 bedrooms and 7 beds (not including the pull out sofa) every child had their own bed! I love how the photos and descriptions let you know exactly what was in each room! It was so easy to plan ahead of time who would be sharing a room with each other! The kitchen was so well stocked it actually made cooking or bbqing enjoyable! You cannot believe that they rent out such a beautiful place! The men played Wicked Stick which they really enjoyed and is only about 2 miles away! We enjoyed walking to dinner at the River City Cafe which sits oceanfront and has great salads and burgers! Our favorite walk to restaurant was Bubba's! This truly fresh seafood experience offered indoor or outdoor seating. There was all you can eat catfish, fall off the bones flounder, JUMBO shrimp, crab cakes, etc. Loved it there! (Joseph was the best waiter!) Of course every night we walked down to get ice cream at Sophia's! A 1 scoop is a normal 2+ anywhere else and it is delicious! The cotton candy ice cream has bits of real cotton candy that just melt in your mouth! I hope you will stay at Serendipity! The owners corresponded with us quite frequently through email to answer our many, many questions! This was our first trip to Surfside beach and I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Hope to be back again:)
