We stayed in the casita during December & January, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The casita has a comfortable bed and warm blankets, and the kitchen is well appointed for being guest-house sized. The shower is rock lined and the house has alot of Santa Fe charm. We used the fireplace regularly, and the owners were great about providing wood. The casita is removed from the main house and felt very private. The house is a bit of a walk from the parking area, and I would not recommend it for people with mobility issues since the walkway is rock. The house is in a great area of Santa Fe, close to Canyon Road and hiking trails. All in all, a perfect place for a longer vacation.

Stayed four months while relocating. Wonderful introduction to life in Santa Fe. Secluded with beautiful sunset views and the aromas of juniper and chimisa (and lilacs and roses). WiFi access fair. Comfy queen size bed. Owners pleasant and responsive to requests; also generous with seasonal garden produce. Resident outdoor cat likes to visit. Walking distance to Canyon Road art galleries and bus route to downtown and Museum Hill. Birders will enjoy breakfast on the deck with hummingbirds as well as the nearby Audubon Center. Well maintained network of hiking and mountain bike trails around old reservoir and surrounding area.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.
