Excellent Option for Multi-Family Accommodation

We were in town for a family wedding. The home is not "fancy" but it's really very nice. My parents stayed upstairs (2 bedrooms with queen beds, one with an ensuite) and my young family of four stayed on the lower level (which includes a crib and bunk beds plus a super comfy king bed). The lower level is very spacious with high ceilings. We all enjoyed having "enough space" and the kitchen/living room area is nice and open for entertaining. Having the playground a stone's throw away (you really can supervise from the deck if your kids are a bit older) was wonderful. They even had a few storybooks. There are no steps down from the deck to the yard which was somewhat inconvenient (some other neighbors have built them). Guests leave spices and other basics behind to "share" so that made things even easier. There is also a second kitchen in the basement which we did not use. It was the only area of the house which wasn't really that clean. Recommended!

We stayed in your home from July 5th till the 12th. A very comfortable and clean home. It was very well equipped. Good location for the Stampede and all other activities in Calgary. Highly recommend it and will use it again if we get the Calgary. Thanks very much.

Amazing house.

This house exceeded all of our expectations. It is truly a home away from home. The location is perfect. Clean, comfortable and there is everything that you could possible need or want. We are a family with 2 small children (1 and 3 yrs old.). This house is very child friendly. There are even some toys to play with. The owners are easy to work with and very prompt with communication and to answer any questions. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Don't hesitate to rent this house.

This was our first VRBO experience and we were extremely happy with our choice. We had a great long weekend and enjoyed this lovely house. Our children felt very much at home and we were all able to relax and enjoy each other's company. So much better than a hotel for this occasion. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was well equiped and everything was as described in the listing. The LRT train ride into the downtown was convenience. Walking distance to Super Store, Wal-mart, Big shopping mall . There are lots terrific restaurants within walking distance. We would definately stay here again!!

The place looked exactly like the pictures and we weren't disappointed at all. It was truly a home away from home. Warm and comfortable. Made our stay in Calgary truly an enjoyable experience. It was snowing on the 1st weekend when we got there at -22 C, but we were kept warm & cozy in the house. I can imagine the house would be even better in the Spring or Summer. We had such wonderful time as a family. The place was very spacious to accommodate 6 adults and 2 children. It was very clean and tidy . My wife personally love the fact that we were able to wash our dirty clothes before packing up since you have a washer and dryer in the house. We will not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone. Look forward to return again. Thank you Susan and Jacques for a wonderful stay!

Our family of eight including two toddlers converged in this lovely family home. It was exactly as listed--more than adequate for all of us. The owners were very attentive to our needs both before we arrived and afterward. The location was perfect for us--close to shopping and freeways. The children especially enjoyed the playground that is close at hand. Sleeping spaces and all amenities worked out perfectly. We only wished that we could have stayed longer. We have already recommended your vacation home to others.

Over the last two years I have rented this property a couple of times for business trip. It has become my home away from home in Calgary. The location cannot be beat. The access to Stoney Trail, #1 Highway, Deerfoot Trail (#2), restaurants and shops ( Cross-Iron mall) are all within few minutes drive. The home itself is clean, modern, well-appointed and comfortable. The internet is fast, FREE long distance phone plan is a bonus. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals (with supplies from a grocery store just a few minutes away). I mostly go with one other person, but recently visited with my wife and our three kids. Even then the property worked well for us with the kids sleeping comfortably in their own room while my wife and I used the very comfortable master bedroom with ensuite. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Calgary !

Our week stay at your home was wonderful! Our dog really enjoyed her walks aound the park everyday. Our huge family had to rent 4 vacation homes in Calgary, but this home was the most besutiful & comfortable. Although this home was further away from the other 3 homes, it did not stop us from getting together and had a great time. Your home had everything ( and more..) that we needed. We give this house a 5 stars. Thank you Susan and Jacques.

Out stay at your home was wonderful. We loved the park in the backyard for the grandchildren. You provided so many things that we needed and the cupboards were filled with the staples we needed.(eg.ketcheups, laundry, bathroom supplies). Our son's wedding was amazing. The day was sunny and beautiful. Our family is big but everyone had a bedroom to get their rest. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone coming to Calgary. Thank you!

Great location for families with kids!

We stayed in the house for one week with our 1 and 3 year old. The location was a close drive to everything (handy with kids) and we loved having a BBQ and park in our backyard. Our only suggestion would be to set up the crib in one of the bedrooms upstairs. Thanks for having us!

Thank you so much for having us at your northern rental property! It worked out perfectly for our family while we were in Calgary for a wedding! Our 1.5 and 3.5 year olds LOVED the park! We were traveling to Calgary for a family wedding and did not want to stay in a hotel for the week of our stay. Fortunately we were able to book this home that accommodated four generations of our family including my father, daughter, and granddaughter. We were able to have a family holiday where we could spend time together. We all loved our stay and plan to return! Thank-you for helping make our Calgary trip very memorable. The house was perfect.

This property is very spacious and well taken care of! The neighborhood was very tranquil with easy access to many amenities. Communication with the home owner was very easy and efficient! Renting this property for my family of 8 was a better alternative than investing in hotel options. It was much more comfortable, just like a home away from home! My family from NYC and Hong Kong really enjoyed their stay in Calgary. We couldn't have found a better place to stay for our trip! Thank you Susan and Jacques for sharing your lovely home with us. The house had everything you could ask for and was a tremendous value in comparison to a hotel. It was nicely decorated, very clean and offered tons of space. The satellite TV and wireless internet were great as was the fully stocked kitchen. .

Great place to stay

We stayed at the house for a week while competing for the worlds master titles in speedsakting at the olympic oval. Us being a group of 50+ athletes from the Netherland. The house has been a real home for us after training and competition days. Very comfortable beds, good furniture and a complete kitchen. A great palce to return to in the future, although during the stay the internet failed.

We spent Christmas 2010 there with our daughters and their husbands and of 4 our grandchildren totalling 10 in all we had a fantastic time. We had snow and that was the aim a white Christmas as Christmas in Australia is very hot and dry. The playground at the back of the house was a true winter wonderland for the kids, with an ice skating rink, ice hockey area, a tobbagganing area and a little playground for the really little ones. We found the house to be well equipped, and central to shopping areas. The house was warm and welcoming as we entered, and we were all very well catered for. The children aged between 20 months and 11 years just loved it. It was a pleasant drive to Lake Louise and Banff where the kids went ice skating on Lake Louise it was a dream come true for me. Thanks for the memories

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hetu's property. It was definitely a home away from home. Plenty of space for 2 small boys to play. Proximity to the playground and park was great. The home was very well equipped and comfortable.

A Great Family Home

We took the family with us for a two week stay in early August. The house was great. Clean, spacious, well furnished, good internet access, and in a nice location. We found the accommodation arrangements (with part being an almost self contained apartment on the lower floor) worked particularly well for us - My mother-in-law and I could stay comfortably apart when the need arose! No hassles whatsoever ! Hope to come back some day (and I'll be happy to bring my mother-in-law too).

The north Calgary property was clean, accessible, spacious and beautifully decorated! Our 10 year old boys just loved the park in the back and the outdoor rink! Easy access to the Stampede, Zoo and not too far to Banff for our day trip! Thank you so much for sharing your home with our family.

We booked this place for 4 of our employees they said this is the best house they ever stayed at over the years of travelling for work. They loved the little extras we wanted to book it longer but sadly it was already booked out for the other dates. Thank you so much for your hospitality diffently worth five stars and the price is fantastic also

Hi , Susan .The warmth and friendliness of your hospitality was greatly appreciated. The accommodation was very comfortable and we felt very well looked after.The house was thoughtfully and pleasantly furnished with all modern amenities and everything was clean and well organized. We always felt we were at home and never in a corporate housing. . . . The best part was you had thought of every need . The owners went well out of their way to make certain we had everything we needed, including a Pack'n Play for our child (complete with an email in advance with an Internet link to a complete product description, so that we could see for ourselves that it was appropriate). Thanks Susan so much for making this all so easy, and we will see you next time we are up in Calgary!!!
