Year Purchased: 2004
Mommy, Daddy and I love our "special place." It is big enough for many guests or small enough for a cozy getaway. There is a certain serenity found on Keuka Lake; the morning loons and other waterfowl, the frothy flow of the current, kayakers, speed boating, pontoons and fishing. Down the highway, there are the many wineries of the region, lake cruises (some serving food) and antiquing, quilt shops, and even things kids like me like, go-carting and miniature golf, even home-grown fruit and vegetable stands. This is our "special place" because no where else have we found the combination of mountains, sky and a sense of calm for vacationers and residents alike. OK, so my daddy wrote this but I provided the kid's part!

Positive Rating
We have had several repeat renters for next year since we first listed our house as a rental on VRBO early this year. We have added the following to enhance our house: steel front and side door, pella storm door, shutters, gutters & guards, couches, diswasher. We are currently redoing front of house and deck - all for the comfort and safety of all our very special guests. Many of our guests are repeat. We have had positive feedback as recently as August 8, 2009, where the renters stayed 1 week with their entire family.
