The owners were wonderful to work with - they could not habe been more helpful! We loved the secure feeling to One Ocean place . The condo itself with the view it offered insured us of a peaceful, relaxed vacation - and what more could one ask for?

The condo was all we hoped for.It was very clean and everything was apdated.The view of the ocean is great from the living area,master bedroom,dining area and even the kitchen.The unit is right next to the elevator which is very convenient.The view from the rear of the condo is also nice.Across the street is a development with a small lake and fountains.The area is very quiet and relaxing but close enough to restaurants and stores.We definitely will stay again,hopefully next year.l

The photos on the web-site made this our first choice and it was certainly the right one ! The condo is spacious, bright and very well furnished and equipped. The view is stunning and the seascape is constantly changing. Having access to the balcony from the master-bedroom is an added bonus, even on the 11th floor the sound of the ocean lulled you to sleep . Some days were quite windy but the balcony was very sheltered and got the sun most of the day . It was great to come "home " to such a nice apt after a day out , and to be so comfortable ...I LOVED the lazy-boy rocker !! We followed up on some of Chuck and Debbie's recommendations for restaurants and golf courses and enjoyed them all. Murrell's Inlet was very close by and was a favourite of ours for walks along the marsh-walkway and good seafood . The boardwalk at Myrtle Beach and the 2nd Ave Pier are worth a visit , as was Tanger Outlets ..we Scots love a bargain ! It has been a pleasure dealing with Chuck and Debbie , we would certainly return to their condo if we go back to the area and would not hesitate to recommend it .

Im sorry i havnt posted this review before now.but this is the second year running that i have rented this condo. We stayed for 7 days mid September 2011 and again were not disapointed. . Mornings normally spent strolling on the beach, afternoons sightseeing ( Brookgreen Gardens superb ) evenings eating /drinking doing nothing at all Which im very good at. The condo itself is immaculate as the reviews do not lie or exagerate.. When dealing with the owners Debbie or Chuck they without fail give you the impression that they are helping you . Thank you very much, As travelling from the UK to USA we try to see different parts of the country but i have a feeling that Garden City will be drawing us back.

Second year in a row -- perfect vacation!

We returned to One Ocean Place for our second year on June 2nd thru 9th. Once again, we found the condo to be neat as a pin, very clean and wonderfully appointed. This year, the mattresses in both bedrooms had been replaced and the two beds in the front bedroom are now two doubles, which gave our kids more room to "spread out". The owners were wonderful to deal with. The staff at One Ocean Place are very kind and helpful. We hope to return for our third year in 2012. Thanks so much!

It doesn't get any better than this! You will enjoy every moment you spend at this beautiful condo - it is clean and well equipped - you won't want for anything! The view is to die for - you won't want to leave. The owners are wonderful to work with - very friendly, helpful and accommodating - it's like talking with old friends. They offer suggestions for local restaurants and attractions - all within reach. We especially enjoyed the Conch Cafe, right next door. Beautiful outside dining on the beach - great food, great prices. We are mental health professionals and prescribe this condo for stress relief!! We will be back!

Reside in the uk and found this condo via website vrbo,Not having used system before a bit apprehensive, However my emails and phone contacts with owners Chuck and Debbie quickly reassured us,they were both a delight to deal with responded to my questions and very prompt with booking and security deposit refund. The condo itself was way above expectations we even on the first morning saw a school of dolphins surfing and leaping out of the sea just on the waveline Priceless . We had visited Myrtle once before but found this location far better than the hussle of central area. Good restaurants near at hand best by far was Venitian Grill Superb food at reasonable price. The condo was even better than the photos! The view from the balcony and the floor-to-ceiling windows was amazing. The restaurant recommendations were excellent. We had a great time. The Owners made the process very easy - the only difficult part was leaving when our vacation came to an end.

We are just back from an awesome week at One Ocean Place. Our stay was wonderful. This unit is nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. We loved the fact that there was beach access directly from the parking garage, and a bathroom on the first floor to use while we were on the beach. The building itself is well maintained. The staff and security guards were friendly and helpful. We hope to be back to this very unit for years to come!

My husband and I stayed at this property in late May. Everything about this unit was as described. The view was beautiful and it is clean and well maintained. We have been visiting Garden City for many years and I have to say this was one of the cleaniest units we have stayed in. We were also given some restaurant recommendations (The Fish House).. YUM... Thank you! We will be back!!

FOUND THE OWNER TO BE VERY FLEXABLE AND ACCOMADATING. CONDO WAS AS DESCRIBED. ONE OCEAN PLACE IS A FIRST CLASS COMPLEX.FOUND NO FAULTS WITH THIS UNIT. I WILL RENT THIS UNIT AGAIN. GULF STREAM CAFE IS ONE REASON WE LIKE GARDEN CITY. A FINE RESTURANT WITH GREAT FOOD AND THE EARLY BIRD SPECIAL IS TO DIE FOR. GRANT

Owner response:Thanks for your feedback. Gulfstream Cafe is a great place to dine. After Memorial Day you can watch the sunset on their 2nd story deck while listening to live music. Next time, try the Conch which is one of the few oceanfront restaurants and is right next door (you just walk over) and is definitely a plus to staying at One Ocean Place. Both restuarants are on our local area highlights list that we send with the keys.

So glad we found this condo. It is very clean and the kitchen has everything you will need during your stay. We have stayed at One Ocean Place before but never this high up. The view is beautiful!! We are planning to stay here again next year. Can't wait!! I would highly recommend this unit for your vacation.

Our stay in this unit was outstanding. The condo is very clean, has a fantastic view and feels like "Home away from Home". I highly recommend this unit and hope we have the opportunity to stay there again next year.

Had a great stay in your Condo! Great oceanfront views. We loved sleeping with balcony door open at night listening to surf. Loved the location, close to everything but peaceful and not very crowded. Really liked the elevator, didn't have to climb any stairs like our last stay in Myrtle Beach.

The stay at the condo was so restful and nice. The view from the balcony is outstanding. Being away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach while still having all the amenities of beach front living was wonderful. It was very comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you.
