  The house was so welcoming and cozy and perfect for our family. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, including beach chairs and toys!! It was very convenient to the beach as well as all the surrounding activities. The playground was less than a 5 min walk, which our kids loved! The owners were very helpful, pleasant and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in the Water Color area.

  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation with our family and friends. The property was exactly as described and was perfect for entertaining. The owners did a nice job communicating with us and provided detailed information about nearby activities. We also appreciated the abundance of clean towels, soap, and an overall welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to friends.

  Our family has vacationed in the 30-A area for the past 15 years, and while not really new to the area, this was our very first time to stay in Watercolor. We enjoyed all of the wonderful amenities that a resort like Watercolor had to offer, but the icing on the cake was staying at High Tide. This home exceeded our expectations at every turn. The house was absolutely spotless upon our arrival, which is one of THE most important factors to me when choosing a place for my family to vacation. I would be lying if I did not tell you that it was cleaner than my own home. The house was immaculate, but totally "livable" and intended to be used for relaxing and vacationing. There was no detail left out of this home....from the fresh flowers everywhere, complimentary bottle of wine, to the provided shower gel and PUMP handsoap in every bathroom (I really hate bar soap and bring my own pump soap, but didn't need to on this trip!!!), to the games, books and dvds for our enjoyment, TVs in every bedroom, amazingly comfortable beds, SOUND MACHINES!!! (yay! usually travel with these too!!), blackout curtains (AWESOME!!), ample beach toys and chairs for our use, two provided bikes (biking in Watercolor and on 30-A was just fantastic!!), fully stocked kitchen, and the OUTDOOR LIVING AREA!!!! Oh my goodness....plan to spend every little moment that you can in this amazing space! Truly...with the fireplace, huge, flatscreen TV, and table seating for 10, we ate every single meal out there. It is a perfect spot for a late night cup of tea chatting with friends by the fire or watching the football game while eating dinner. There was not one thing that could have been improved upon for our vacation and we will definitely stay here again. The owners were on top of everything and were ALWAYS available to us if we needed anything. I have rented through rental companies and private owners on VRBO many times and NEVER had the attention and customer service that I had with this experience. The Slimps are the BEST! Thank you for the most memorable vacation. And don't forget to rent bikes, kayaks, golf carts or whatever you need from Beachdog Bike rentals. We rented bikes for our family, with four very different riding levels, and they met our every need without any issue! Great company and I will use them again, too! Rent with confidence...you will NOT be disappointed!!

  "High Tide" is a great property! We rented the property to spend fall break with our children and grandchildren. The house was perfect for all and the location was convenient to everything we needed and wanted to do. The property more than met out expectations! "High Tide" is beautifully decorated, very clean and well maintained. The fresh flowers were a wonderful touch! Debbie and Thomas were the best owners we have ever worked with. They were so helpful and really made us feel welcome to use their home as our own. We highly recommend this property!

  We just celebrated our first anniversary in this lovely get-away and it was fabulous! It's incredibly convenient to all of Watercolor and Seaside and comes equipped with everything anyone could want (full kitchen & excellent appliances, gorgeous neighborhood, quiet surroundings, etc.) Staying here made our vacation superb. This lovely home is very close to the sandy beaches and all the terrific dining that Watercolor has to offer. The owners also made sure everything was in place for a wonderful time. Very memorable & highly recommended!

  A group of my childhood girlfriends and their husbands met at my favorite place on earth--the emerald coast! Our stay at High Tide was perfect! The location, roomy accommodations, beautiful landscape, etc. made our stay feel like home. We gathered every morning for breakfast--after hitting the pavement for our morning exercise, spent the days at the beach and our evenings enjoying the company of great friends--mainly on the back porch. We are planning on making this trip an annual event and will definitely book with VRBO this home, that met our every needs.

  I highly recommend this property for any families wishing to rent in Watercolor. Although High Tide is not as close to the beach as some other properties in Watercolor, we found that we actually preferred being in the more "wooded" Camp Watercolor area with access to the forest preserve and trails and where the streets were even quieter. The beach/Watercolor center was only a short 10 min bike ride away - easy with even young children. This home is very nicely and comfortably furnished, with all the amenities you can think of and a wonderful closed-in porch for entertaining. The owners were unbelievably professional in all of our dealings and most helpful in answering questions and providing a host of information about activities and restaurants in the area. This was certainly one of our best family vacations, and we hope to return again next summer.

  Our family just stayed here with another family and it was AMAZING! We've stayed at 2 other properties in the area (that were bigger and more expensive), but this is our new favorite! The owners were outstanding to work with, providing lots of extra help and attention so that we could make the most of our time at their home! We've never felt so spoiled. They treated us like friends coming to stay in their home. The new addition with the screened in porch provided many nights of great entertainment- especially during the NBA Finals games. Their neighbors may not have enjoyed it as much as we did ;), but we made some great memories! We can't wait to set dates for next year.

  What an amazing house and very deceiving from the road! The attention to detail was noticeable: flowers, beautiful art, wine, sound machines, surround sound stereo, etc! My favorite was the fireplace in the screened in porch because the weather turned cool one night and it was a treat to sip wine by the fireplace & watch the big screen or just listen to the frogs seranading us:) Many thanks for sharing your beautiful home! I'll be back!!

  We rented this lovely home for Spring Break 2012. We had two adults, three 15 year old boys and two 12 year old boys with us. It is convienently located near the largest local grocer, Publix in the neighborhood of Watercolor. The home is spectacular with a number of large flat screen HD televisions - including in the bedrooms. The covered back portch included a wonderful place to watch television and a table that seats 12. The dining room table seats an addt'l 10, so there is plenty of room if you wish to host a get together. The house is very clean and the kitchen was better equipped than in our own home! They can arrange bike rentals directly from Beach Dogs at very reasonable prices. The bike guy is extremely nice and ensures you are completely satisfied. Rent the Trike bicycle. The house is a little ways form the water, but the trike was great to haul the cooler/towels etc to the beach. While the beach was a little bit away from the beach, the three wheeled bike has a huge basket that carries all your beach gear -coolers, towels, etc. with ease. It is a great way to enjoy the weather on the way to/from the beack -and most of the sand is gone by the time you get home!
