What an amazing house and very deceiving from the road! The attention to detail was noticeable: flowers, beautiful art, wine, sound machines, surround sound stereo, etc! My favorite was the fireplace in the screened in porch because the weather turned cool one night and it was a treat to sip wine by the fireplace & watch the big screen or just listen to the frogs seranading us:) Many thanks for sharing your beautiful home! I'll be back!!

We rented this lovely home for Spring Break 2012. We had two adults, three 15 year old boys and two 12 year old boys with us. It is convienently located near the largest local grocer, Publix in the neighborhood of Watercolor. The home is spectacular with a number of large flat screen HD televisions - including in the bedrooms. The covered back portch included a wonderful place to watch television and a table that seats 12. The dining room table seats an addt'l 10, so there is plenty of room if you wish to host a get together. The house is very clean and the kitchen was better equipped than in our own home! They can arrange bike rentals directly from Beach Dogs at very reasonable prices. The bike guy is extremely nice and ensures you are completely satisfied. Rent the Trike bicycle. The house is a little ways form the water, but the trike was great to haul the cooler/towels etc to the beach. While the beach was a little bit away from the beach, the three wheeled bike has a huge basket that carries all your beach gear -coolers, towels, etc. with ease. It is a great way to enjoy the weather on the way to/from the beack -and most of the sand is gone by the time you get home!

My five grown daughters and I planned a trip to watercolor to relax for a long weekend. We have rented for several years now in Watercolor. This was by far one of the best houses we have rented. The pictures are accurate of how the house looks. The owner was helpful with suggesting things to do in the area (restaurants etc). The Publix grocery is within walking distance. The house also had some extra touches, such as shower soap in all the baths, dishwashing soap, sound machines in all the rooms, comfortable bedding and block out curtains for sleeping late. The furnishings are so comfortable and great for gathering around to talk. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to bake, blend, roast or bar-b-que. There are lots of serving pieces for chips and cheeses and salsa and wine. We had a wonderful time and will definitely rent this house again.

High Tide is absolutely fabulous! Normally we stay on the water, and I was worried that I would miss that, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Watercolor resort community has so many things to do from great pools, walking trails, and playgrounds…yet it is very quiet and secluded. When we wanted to go to the beach, it was very easy to get there, and Debbie and Tom even have beach chairs, kids toys, and a picnic basket to take along. The home was like being at our own home and it was the first time we didn’t miss something…such as the comfort of our own bed, kitchen capabilities, or entertainment. The owners have paid a lot of attention to the details in this beautiful home from the furnishings to the local art that gives it a fantastic beach feel. The front porch swings were wonderful as was the newly finished back porch and both allowed us to enjoy the tranquility that this home offers. This home has everything you need and the owners go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. We will definitely return!

My second trip to this wonderful house over the Christmas break was even better than the first, and I thought the first was fabulous. This home is perfect in every way. The owners have equipped the house with all of the amenities that you would ever want or need from the fully stocked kitchen to fine bed linens. The location is quiet and peaceful and just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. I will definitely be returning to this lovely house next year as this is by far the nicest rental I have ever stayed in!

Our family stayed during Christmas at High Tide and thoroughly loved the house. The setting is quiet and yet close to everything. We loved the porches and particularly the fireplace room with big screen TV. Our girls could not decide whether they wanted the upstairs bedroom or the master downstairs. This home is so well equipped that you will need nothing to prepare any meal. Less than 5 minutes from the beach by bike, with plenty of lovely sites along the way. Need something at the grocery? You can scoot over and back in a flash. Oh, you will not be disappointed in any respect with this one. Tall ceilings and large rooms throughout. Great owner communication and so helpful in recommending places in the area. We will be back.

We have vacationed in the Beaches of South Walton area for many years, and this home was by far the best rental yet. The owners did a GREAT job making sure our stay was exceptional, from the spot-on recommendations to the follow up calls, they went above and beyond my expectations. The recent patio addition was one of our favorite features, as we spend most every evening enjoying the outdoor TV and fireplace, after cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Without a doubt, we will stay here again.

High Tide is one of the most fabulous homes in Watercolor. It truly has everything a renter would want! The kitchen is a cook's dream. The two master bedrooms are beautiful, as well as extremely comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms are perfect for kids or adults. The porch is amazing, and is a great place to have morning coffee. Overall I would highly recommend High Tide for anyone looking for a beautiful yet comfortable home to rent.

Our family stayed at High Tide during this past Labor Day holiday. The weather was horrible for a beach vacation but this house made up for it. We LOVED the outdoor living space!!! We ate meals out there, played board games, and cheered on our LSU Tigers on the flat screen!!! Would love to go back during winter to lite up the fireplace and make S'mores! Would highly recommend this home for multiple families. The bedroom set-up is great with each their own bathroom.

Staying in your Watercolor home was a wonderful experience! You all have gone above and beyond in furnishing and decorating your place. You certainly have something to be proud of! I would certainly consider staying there again; very convenient to the beach. We also enjoyed the bikes – nice amenity. Love your new outdoor room! I will recommend it to friends as I hear of someone heading that way! The owners made sure we knew how to reach them in case of problems or questions and seemed to care about making sure our stay was satisfactory. The Watercolor, Seagrove, Seaside area is a quieter stretch of beach and very family oriented. We actually used it as a getaway weekend to celebrate an anniversary, but hope to take the family back.

Our stay at High Tide was awesome. The house is so well equipped with all your needs. I enjoy cooking on vacation and the kitchen had all the bells and whistles unlike most rentals. The back porch is wonderful. and so secluded. We enjoyed our dinner at the long table then retired in front of the fireplace. It was truly a treat. The owners even equip you with blankets for cooler evening. The beds are awesome and the floor plan works for so many types of groups. They suggested a restuarant in Rosemary called Georges. It was delicious and the decor was very cool. Debbie and Tom have thought of everything to truly make your vacation a delight. Much thanks for sharing your home with us.

This luxury seaside home is very well appointed. The community is central to every convenience and overlaps Seaside. We dined at several restaurants with the most unbelievable sea food...try the butter fish at Cafe 30-A. We enjoyed leisurely bike rides all around town. The swimming pool was private clean and reminded us of South Beach. And the white beaches were so well maintained.....we walked and talked for hours. Where your sunscreen. We drove to this location and the scenic route was eye catching...no traffic. Yep we are definitely coming back.

I have stayed in this house several times now and it just seems to get better and better. The new addition is fabulous. We loved sitting by the fire on chilly nights and the dining area is perfect for a large group. The kitchen in this house is remarkably well stocked. I have had several rental experiences that felt more like camping due to a poorly outfitted kitchen. This house is equipped for the sophisticated cook, down to an egg-poaching pan! I continue to appreciate the location of this house. It is close enough to easily ride my bike to the beach club, but out of the heavily trafficked area so that my children can play and ride their bikes in relative safety. There is a small cul-de-sac directly across the street that a younger child can ride around in very safely. Of course, proximity to Publix is always appreciated for last minute runs! I truly knew that I felt at home here on this past visit. I was ill for a few days and normally would have wanted to be at home in my own bed. I thought about going home early but I was so comfortable in my room (not even the master) with the sound machine to block out the noise of the house when I wanted to sleep and the great TV when I didn’t, that I decided to stay. Reading on the porch swing was a great way to spend my day when I wasn't yet up to a full day of activity. A few days later I was better and my vacation turned out great. This isn’t a vacation house; it is a vacation home.

IFYOU ARE LOOKING FOR PRIVATE ELEGANCE WITH ALL THE AMENITIES YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LOOK ANY FURTHER. BEAUTIFULLY CONSTRUCTED AND APPOINTED AND BEDS SO COMFORTABLE YOU HATE TO GET UP. BUT YOU MUST... BICYCLES, BEACH, SHOPPING, GOLF, COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN, OR JUST SITTING ON THE FRONT PORCH WITH A CUP OF COFFEE AWAITS. WE HAD FOUR COUPLES AND THERE WAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. A WONDERFUL PROPERTY IN A GREAT LOCATION, DID I MENTION SUNSETS SO DRAMATIC THAT THEY WILL TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY?

I highly recommend this property for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Debbie and Tom were wonderful. They recommended great places to eat and things to do.Our family of 7 (including a 7 week old) had plenty of room in the spacious house to lay around and be lazy or to cook an evening meal and sit at the table and enjoy ourselves. My 3 year old rode a bike with his dad and grandfather and caught his first fish as well. The community is very safe and just beautiful! If you and your family are looking for a "Fab-u-lo-so" place to stay....stay at High Tide!"

What a wonderful place! Our family just finished our second stay at High Tide. We would definately go back for a third. The property is everything it is represented to be and the owners are easy to work with. Our daughter cried (again) when it was time to leave "her" beach home! We would certainly recommend choosing this property over all others if the size fits your needs.

My family, (children and grandchildren) had the pleasure of staying at HIGH TIDE the week of 6/5-12/10. The exceptional qualities and detail of this elegant home are far too many to mention in this limited space. We loved the home when we first walked in and saw the open living areas. The dining table and area was great for our 9 family members with plenty of space to spare. The kitchen is superb with the granite counter tops and is by far the best stocked cooking suuplies of any place we have stayed. (EXCEPTIONAL). The waffle iron makes great waffles. the house was very clean and obviously well maintained. Private baths adjacent to all the bedrooms were wonderful. Our grandchildren enjoyed having the upstairs bunk room with their own TV and bath. (we enjoyed them having that also). The bedrooms with the king beds were great. The bicycles were a great way to go to the beach as well as to ride around the beautiful Watercolor/Seaside areas. After a day at the beach or cycling, Grandpa and Grandma enjoyed the two swings on the front porch. It was very relaxing to nap in the swings while watching the tall pines swaying the breeze. The owners of the property checked with us to make sure our needs were met and everything was perfect. The fresh flowers and bottle of wine added that very special touch.. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional. No one would ever go wrong in any way by booking this wonderful home as a perfect place for their time away. You can do so with 100% confidence you will not be disappointed.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at "High Tide" in the Watercolor Resort area of Santa Rosa Florida. We highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in this area. The home appears to be brand new and is decorated impeccably. There is an spacious, open floor plan for the entertainment area- living room, dining room and kitchen, which easily accommodated our large group. The kitchen was a gourmet's dream and every culinary utensil we could have wished for was on hand. There are two master bedrooms downstairs and the smaller bedroom suites upstairs were of a good size, especially the bathrooms. Great flat screen TVs in all the bedrooms too, with a large flat screen entertainment center in the Living room. Not that we had time for TV! The owners provided 4 bikes for guest use, and it was just a short walk down the road to get to the beautiful (heated in the cooler months!) pool and kids club. Of course that was just one of 5 pools that we had use of, as well as access to the gorgeous Watercolor Beach Club. If you are not familiar with the beaches on Florida's Emerald Coast, you are in for a treat! The sand is like powdered sugar and the water is clear and aquamarine in color. As it turns out, we could not have ordered up a better location. High Tide is private and quiet, yet has close access to the shops if you need to bike over for some milk.

My husband and I visited "High Tide" in April and had a delightful stay in this charming home. The house is beautifully appointed with exceptional furnishings, but is also very warm and inviting. We loved the open living-dining-breakfast room, full kitchen, and the extremely comfortable king-sized beds in the master bedrooms. With all the space, we are definitely bringing friends on our next vacation here! Much of the time there we were out and about, and loved the close access to the the Club pool and fitness center, beautiful beaches, grocery, dining (casual and fine), and shopping. Biking everywhere on the owner-provided bicycles was great fun and we went all over WaterColor and Seaside on them in no time. We are beach lovers but can't take too much sun, so having all the comforts and luxuries of home (and more!) was important, too. We enjoyed movies on the cable/satellite TV, high speed Internet access for web surfing (and even to do a bit of work), and just relaxing with books and magazines, so the time spent indoors at "High Tide" was cozy and serene.... "High Tide" is an incredible beach house in an excellent location, with everything you want and need for an exquisite, memorable vacation. We can't wait to return with friends and family to enjoy this spacious and inviting home!

I'm a little late reviewing, but me & my husband - along with a few people in our bridal party stayed there for 3 nights in March of 2010 & this property is breath taking. We are locals so we hope to come back many more times in the future. I would DEFINITELY choose this property over any condo on the beach at any given time. The weather was perfect, there was plenty of space for everyone to move around. The house was decorated beautifully in what I call Pottery Barn Style! I LOVED IT! I hope to come back again very soon. The house is very opoen as well, and has many windows for light. The owners of this home are also very easy to work with and after inquiry after inquiry looking for a house to stay in, they were definitely the most welcoming. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

We just returned from a long weekend in Watercolor and it was wonderful! This house truly feels like a home. It is elegant, yet very comfortable. It has a wonderful open floor plan and we loved the front porch with porch swings and ceiling fans! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, complete with flat screens and sound machines. We enjoyed exploring Watercolor's wonderful neighborhoods and natural paths both by foot and with the 2 bikes that came with the house. There were many pools to choose from if we weren't in the mood for the beach. We didn't go out on the lake but look forward to enjoying a kayak or Yolo on our next stay. It was also great to be so close to the grocery store! We will definitely be back!
