Recently upgraded and completely remodeled with Asian Pacific flair, this well appointed Poipu vacation condo has everything you want for a magical holiday in Paradise. The large one bedroom, one bathroom is beautifully situated just 20 yards from one of the best snorkeling beaches on Kauai. The lanai has ocean to mountain views, overlooking historic Prince Kuhio Park and monument. You can be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the surf and wake up to the view of the Pacific, yes, you can see & hear the ocean from the king size bed!

Prince Kuhio resort has a "classic Hawaii" feel with beautifully landscaped grounds rich with tropical foliage. For our guests, there is a nice swimming pool, a Japanese Koi pond with large and colorful Koi, an on site laundry facility, and both gas & charcoal BBQs. There is free parking, free high speed internet, & free local calls.

When you want to go out to play, the choice is yours. The beach across the street is great for snorkeling, swimming & surfing. It is also home to the Beach House Restaurant for fine dining and those fabulous Kauai sunsets. In Poipu and nearby old Koloa town you will find a variety of shopping and dining opportunities. Golf courses are a short drive and include Kiahuna Country Club and the championship Poipu Bay Resort Course.

Want to get wet? Stroll across the road for surfing with the locals at PK's, Centers, and Acid Drop. Body boarders and stand up surfers are welcome. Arrange a scuba diving trip and dive with green sea turtles and abundant tropical fish, many endemic to Hawaiian waters. Dry off with spectacular hiking in the Waimea canyon and the Napali coast. Kayak up a river to see a waterfall, take a sunset cruise. It's hard to choose.

Or just plant your beachmat on the sand, lie down, and EXHALE.

  • What an absolutely delightful condo in the perfect location! The owners have updated this unit with dozens of thoughtful and beautiful touches and were so kind so genuine and so easy to deal with, it made the entire experience perfect. I really had a hard time leaving, but I know I will be back!!! When I close my eyes, I can still remember the full moon over the ocean or the perfect sunrises that greeted me every morning. Fabulous!!

  • We stayed in this unit from June 20-30, 2009. The owners were extremely helpful and nice! The view from the lanai and bedroom is great. We slept with the lanai door open every night, with the tradewinds blowing and the sound of the ocean. I would definately recommend staying in this condo! Mahalo, Melissa Nielsen

  • I've rented a few places on VRBO, but this was certainly my most favorable. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the condo looked better than the pictures (something about the cheesy faded borders in online pics that makes things look less genuine). I slept well in the king-sized bed despite my 3-hour jetlag, and was impressed by the *real* ocean view. The condo was well-appointed and the iPod/iPhone speakers slash charger made the trip a real vacation. Thanks and Mahalo. Nate Buscher
