The pictures don't tell you of the incredible energy in this place. It is so secluded; you can go here for great rest and relaxation. When I am stressed, I imagine myself back at this place. The deck is a perfect place for yoga, cocktails, reading or napping. The bedrooms are very inviting, and when you take a shower in the master bath, you'll never want to leave.

We were just there with a another couple and enjoyed our stay tremendously! So relaxing and what a beautiful view of the canal and the mountains! We watched the eagles every morning and the weather was wonderful, even the few misty days that we had were a welcome relief from the midwest heat! Thank you so much for the tranquil and awesome time that we had at your home.

My two kids and I spent 3 days at this vacation home. We rented it at the last minute when another property fell through. What a treat! The views are incredible and the home is immaculate. You have everything you might need in the way of linens, dishes, etc. It's a quick ride to Port Gamble, Downtown Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island. Fay Bainbridge State Park is a favorite of ours. We hope to stay again soon! Heuler Family, Florida

We stayed here for a very enjoyable long weekend in mid-May, a chance to get away from the city, and to explore the Hood Canal area and Olympic National Park. The owners are very helpfull, always ready to answer questions. The home is just lovely, even nicer than the photos, with spectacular views of the water and the mountains. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the entire home is so clean and well maintained, it was a real pleasure staying here. Thank you for sharing it with us!

We just got back from staying at this amazing place over Memorial Day Weekend. The owners were very good about answering questions and the deck overlooks an amazing view of the bay and you can see the Hood Canal Bridge. The inside has everything you need and the kitchen was great to cook in.We will be back for sure and hopefully with better weather. Thanks again for the great hospitality!
Owner response:Thanks for the kind words. We love sharing our home with people looking for a great get-a-way. It is especially convenient for people on the Seattle side of the water. It is only a little more than an hour away with the boat ride.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children.

Loved the layout of this beautifully appointed home. It was perfect for community meals and game night for the 6 of us. We were close to Poulsbo for a bit of touring and shopping, too. The kitchen is a chef's dream with everything supplied in the way of cooking and eating, except cocktail glasses. We made do just fine, though! Even in the rain, the views were stunning. There's a great view of the Hood Canal Bridge and we did have one beautiful sunset our last night there. Steve was very responsive from the beginning and, when we took a wrong turn, Steve was right there on the phone to set us straight and even offered to come get us, if that's what we needed. We had a great time and I consider the home a great find. ISSUE AND SUGGESTION: The "3rd bedroom" has only a double bed and no closest, which techically doesn't count as a bedroom. It also has a frosted glass door, not a solid one. I suggest that's stated in the bedroom descriptions or, at least have a picture of that room, too.
