Escape to the Cape! This 1790 home was recently and lovingly restored. The beautiful wide board floors, and architectural details give it a great, comfortable feel.
On the first floor, you will find a large, custom built kitchen. Cherry cabinets, granite counters, spacious island, and separate eat in area. Near the kitchen, still on the first floor, is a laundry room, and a full bathroom.
Off the large, informal "keeping room" with fireplace, and plenty of seating; are 2 first floor bedrooms. These 2 bedrooms are decorated true to period, with antiques. One includes an antique canopy bed. All beds have new, clean comfortable mattresses. Both of these bedrooms have private bathrooms. One has a jetted tub, the other a clawfoot tub.
The bright and airy sage green sunroom, is located off the keeping area as well. This room is great for relaxing.
Adjoining both the kitchen and sunroom, is a spacious, travertine patio with a gas grill, and summer furniture.
On the second floor are additional bedrooms and another full bath. Each second floor bedroom is decorated with Cape style and comfort in mind.
A "bonus" room, with tv, games, computers, air hockey, etc. is a great place for the young in your group to kick back and relax.
Knowing how stressful life can be, we want to make your visit to the Cape, easy and relaxing. So, travel light! We have hairdryers, shampoo/conditioner, all laundry supplies, a super well equiped kitchen, Beach towels and beach toys. We can arrange for your groceries to be delivered, or answer questions about the great restaurants near by. Come, sit back, enjoy the sounds of the Cape, and the smell of the fresh salt air.....It's time to relax.........

We chose this location to host an overnight retreat for a student group from a university. The house was huge, well-maintained, and had a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We had a terrific family vacation here. The house was very clean, spacious, and well stocked with everything we needed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My friends and I stayed at this gorgeous house a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. There is one side of the house that is old and really interesting and the other is brand new. There is a great room that is an awesome place to hang out if the weather isn't great, as is the beautiful kitchen, patio and yard. There is a beach minutes away, perfect for a large group who just want to relax!Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We rented this house for a family get-together for Thanksgiving. We had such a nice time and I can't say enough about how fabulous the house is. The antique portion of the house is beautifully updated, restored, and decorated, and the new additions offer beautiful living, sleeping and cooking spaces. The kitchen is gorgeous and very well-appointed. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. My wife and I spent 3 nights here in July 2009. Wonderful, clean, quiet. We olny rented 1 room, rather than whole house but next year we are considering bringing the whole family. About the owner: John is a professional remodeling contractor, and builder. Melissa was a stay at home Mom for years, but recently went to work part time outside the home, as a Dental Hygienist and a Flight Instructor. They owned an Inn for 10 years on the Cape. They have 7 children and 2 Grand Babies!
Why the Owner Chose East Dennis:
Melissa grew up on the Cape. Dennis has the most beautiful beaches and the best location of anywhere on the Cape! It's an "all America town."

Location, location, location! Dennis has the best beaches on the Cape. Our "street" is a quiet lane ending in a cul-de-sac. You can look up the street from our sunroom. There's no loud traffic noise, just happy birds chirping. We love the charm of our antique home, with our custom, new kitchen and new bathrooms. It's the best of both, antique and modern. It just has a relaxing, comfortable feel to it! While outside, We love the smell of salt air....
