This recently updated lovely condominium, decorated in a light southwest style, is located in a beautiful resort complex across from the lake and world-famous fountain.
The condominium sleeps four with a queen-size bed in the master bedroom and a daybed which converts to two twin beds in the guest bedroom/sitting room. The patio is accessible from the great room and each of the bedrooms.
Enjoy the "resort feel" of breakfast on the patio overlooking a desert garden, relaxing or socializing by the pool and hot tub, or enjoying the club house with its active social calendar, pool table, library, bridge games, and complimentary week day morning coffee, donuts, and bagels during winter months.
Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Live theater and jazz, championship golf courses, mountain biking and hiking are located in Fountain Hills. You are five to ten minutes from the Mayo Clinic, Fort McDowell Casino, horseback riding, Saguaro Lake, and more golf courses. In 20 minutes you will be in Old Town Scottsdale's galleries, music, shopping, and baseball spring training. It is a scenic, two-hour drive to Sedona or Tucson, three hours to Tombstone or Nogales, Mexico, and four hours to the Grand Canyon or Las Vegas.

Year Purchased: 1987
My husband, Sid (a Canadian), and I live in beautiful Fountain Hills. We enjoy meeting our tenants and being close(2 miles) to help when needed. I have been a traveler for years, preferring remote, nature destinations. On a trip to the Galapagos in the early 80's I saw my first penguin. Since then I have seen penguins on every continent, fulfilling that tally on a trip to Antarctica 2 years ago. This photo if of me right after a 2 mile trek across the ice pack to see the emperor penguin colony. See the joy on my face? If was a trip of a lifetime! My husband and I travel out of Arizona every summer to see children and grandchildren....mostly to Canada and also to San Diego. Other times during the year we are on a cruise ship exploring the world. I guess that sums it up....family, friends, travel.... Other people travel to enjoy our lovely town and property and we travel to also enjoy other parts of the world.
Why the Owner Chose Fountain Hills
The town of fountain hills was relatively new with no rental/resort properties. The town allowed for a property that could be rented, like a resort: by the day, week, month, etc. Lakeside Resort Casitas was that property and it included the only multiple lodging year round heated pool. The owners are committed to retain the quality and desirability of the property. Our tenants return year after year and have formed great friendships/memories. The pride of ownership is very evident..
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
Sid and I enjoy "Getting Away" by spending time here.... Not using the phone or working on our local volunteer duties. We enjoy walking around the lake, going out to eat in the many local restaurants, enjoying relaxing time by the pool, getting to know the owners who come to Fountain Hills when their condo is not in use and just living the carefree lifestyle.
