My husband and I have been exploring the Southwest Florida region as a possible retirement location. This was our second visit to Punta Gorda. We thought we'd like to try renting a house on a canal with a lanai and pool to see if this was really what we would like in retirement. That is how we stumbled on this house. Wow! We lucked out! The house is fabulous! Andrea was helpful and prompt with responses. We are waiting for the deposit to be returned but expect no difficulties. I would highly recommend this home to future renters. Punta Gorda, here we come!

When first renting from VRBO I was nervous because I have always trusted hotel chains. The owner of this property calmed my nerves. We chatted like friends thru emails. I could tell she cared about her home and cared about my family having a good time. The home was amazing. When I pulled into the driveway I checked the address several times to be sure it was the right place. It was everything and more than the photos showed. I watched the video on VRBO so many times I could give the tour of the home. Never have I been so relaxed on a vacation. The house was fully stocked with everything I thought I would need to run to the grocery for. THis was our first visit to the area and the house is convienently located to resturants, beaches and shopping. However if peace and quiet is your plan this is the place. Thank you for sharing your home with us and I look forward to staying there again...soon. I can 't imagine ever staying in a hotel room or a dive like place again on vacation. I only want to stay in "my home" away from home here in Punta Gorda.

We had a very smooth transtition getting the house last minute with Andrea the owner and Bob the property manager. The house was extremely comfortable and clean. The pool area has a tropical feel. We had no problems with the house. All the necessary amenities were there. We would highly recommend this home.

We had a great two weeks in April, 2011. The house is beautiful in a mature neighborhood. The pictures on the VRBO website do not do the home justice. It was very comfortable and well stocked with all the essentials. The home its close enough to golf and shopping, with both Port Charlotte and Fort Myers close by. We plan to return in the fall!!

My husband and I stayed at this property for the month of September 2010. The home was most lovely! It was accurately described online. Of special note, the home was much larger than it appeared in the photos. It was extremely clean, very well appointed and so comfortable. The kitchen was well designed for personal enjoyment as well as entertaining. Both my husband and I felt it was the very best vacation home ever! We are planning a return visit October 2011. Andrea, the owner, is wonderful to work with. She replies back to you immediately regarding any questions or concerns and she makes every effort to have your vacation and renting through VRBO a pleasant experience. I personally have communicated with her so often I feel like I know her! We have definitely recommended this property to our friends. You will not be disappointed if you rent this property! It is the best! The location is excellent for travel throughout Southwest Florida including Naples, Ft. Myers, Sanibel Island and Siesta Keys.

Our winter in Punta Gorda

Last winter, we spent three wonderful months in Andrea's fabulous house in Punta Gorda. Like a previous reviewer, we also were pleasantly surprised because the house is even more beautiful than the pictures in the vrbo listing. Also, Andrea is a most helpful and accomodating hostess who really cares about her guests. Punta Gorda is a well kept secret, the village is pristine and has a lot of character with lovely restaurants and boutiques, nature paths and parks and you can watch the sun set in the Charlotte harbour just three minutes from the house. Tennis, golf, health club are minutes away so is shopping and cinema.

We had a great week in January, 2010. The house is lovely and very comfortable and in a great neighbor hood. We plan to return in November and play golf in Sarasota and surrounding courses and go fishing.

We stayed in this fabulous home over Christmas and New Years. What a gorgeous retreat away from our Winter up North. The pictures on the listing do not even do the home justice, its like the cover of an upscale Homes Magazine. It was also very comfortable, which is more important. All the "I wants" were there in the home. And its close enough to all the golf and shopping you could want (Port Charlotte, Venice and Fort Myers are close). Andrea (the owner) was very helpful from the very beginning and you certainly got a sense that she wanted to be sure our vacation time there was the best it could be. Thanks Andrea, it was wonderful!

We had the best week ever in this home. When we walked in, we went back outside to make sure we had the right address. Words cannot describe the beauty of this home. It is comfortable and one could get real accustomed to the quality this home presented. We had a fabulous visit and plan to return!!!!!!
