Our direct Beachfront Home sports a gentle slope to the ocean. Relax to the lap of the water in a quiet peaceful area. Savor colorful Western sunset views across Holmes Harbor from most rooms.
This home and beach enjoy long hours of afternoon sunshine. Just 3 stair steps from the lawn to the warm sunny beach you'll find lots of interesting driftwood, seashells, and pretty stones to collect. A beachcomber's delight.
Two bedrooms: each has 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin bed.
Drive your car close to the house for easy unloading in our spacious driveway.
Seashell Beach House is 7 minutes drive North of Freeland. & Freeland Hall. 12 minutes to Langley from South Whidbey Island’s charming Beverly Beach neighborhood where the beaches are private and the fir trees wave at you as you walk the quiet roads.
The home is freshly remodeled with stone countertops, tile and carpeting. Comfortable leather furniture, Saltwater views on all levels. Our spacious relaxing living room, kitchen, master bedroom and main-level deck provide sights of sea and shore birds, ducks & geese, sea lions, harbor seals on Holmes Harbor Sound. Eagles are common sightings with their distinctive tiny voice. Grey whale sightings are possible in the spring.
Enjoy a upstairs master bedroom that runs the full length of the house with an ocean view balcony and private bathroom. The Second bedroom and bathroom are on the main level, along with full kitchen and living room.
A spiral staircase from the deck leads to the lawn, vegetable garden and beach where you may see bunnies, deer, racoons, and other wildlife. Gray Whales are seasonal March/April. Crabbing and clamming are possible on foot when in season, Ace Hardware has shellfish licenses! The saltwater in front of the house is shallow & warms in the summer for floating, swimming and snorkeling. A great place to launch your kayak or canoe. Bring and launch your boat on the road to the water 5 houses North.
Surrounding natural areas provide opportunities for hiking, biking, and sightseeing, while a short drive to Freeland or Langley allows access to plenty of shopping, entertainment and dining options. Lots of venues with live music on the island.

- Beach View : Enjoy the pebbly beach, watch ducks in the winter, seabirds in the summer, crab boats, tugs, an occasional new ferry gets towed by after it has been built in the boatyard which you can see at the South end of Holmes Harbor.
- Oceanfront : Summertime swimming & floating is really great, it's shallow out front so the water can be warm. Bring your snorkel and view the crabs close up. Grey Whales sporadically cruise Holmes Harbor Sound in March April when their food sources are abundant.

A large upstairs bedroom has 5 windows to view the sea, it parallels the ocean with a Queen bed, a Twin bed and a leather chaise. Main floor bedroom has a Queen & Twin bed: garden views. The beach is a fabulous walk at low tide. Beachcombers enjoy lots of shells, lovely stones & driftwood. A colorful variety of neighborhood boats, canoes and kayaks adorn the beach.

Each month South Whidbey entertains with a variety of festivals, studio tours, music events, visit Historic Fort Casey, Jet boat at Deception Pass. There is only 1 franchise at this end of the island, we know you'll enjoy supporting friendly local businesses. The Clyde movie theatre in Langley is low cost with great films.

I love this neighborhood, a great place to walk either on the beach or the shady tree lined streets away from busy traffic. It is private, friendly and so close to anything you might want or enjoy. No franchises in South Whidbey so you can shop supporting small businesses. Wine tasting, wonderful farmers markets, studio art tours, great unique music at local coffee houses.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Viewing nature, the pristine beach, bring your kayak, paddle board, boat or bicycle to enjoy while here. Free public buses into Freeland on weekdays. A huge variety of quiet forested walking trails and an even bigger selection of beaches to walk along. The ferry ride is a 12 minute ride from Mukilteo to Clinton. Go upstairs in the ferry to enjoy the 360 degree views of the islands and Cascade Mountain range on the trip.

We enjoyed such a comfortable weekend here at Beverly Beach! Nice house, all the ammentites you could ask for, great views and right on the beach. Humming birds and seals, wood burning stove and close to everything we needed. Nice antique stores in Freeland nearby; great store called the Star Store also close by. The upstairs bedroom and deck was the perfect view spot and it was a very quiet and relaxed weekend. Thanks again, /R

Thank you for sharing your home with us, We had a delightful getaway with our three children between Christmas and new year.. The first morning I woke up made a pot of fresh coffee..( coffee stored in the freezer was wonderful and locally produced) sat down with a book it the window seat and savored the gorgeous view of the harbor... a flock of ducks provided enough action to keep my kids happy looking through the binoculars.. we were blessed to have a blanket of snow to wake up to the first morning.. the kitchen was well stocked and as a self proclaimed Gourmet I found everything I needed to put together simple meals. The beds were quite comfortable, as were the linens. It was clear the home had bed newly renovated, I was pleased with the decor and the cleanliness of the home. I highly recommend this Jewel on Whidbey Island, the owner was very gracious and easy to deal with as well.We would gladly return to this place... next time when the weather is warm enough to enjoy the beach and water activities.
