Welcome to Canto Del Mar! Imagine being able to sun-tan, read a book, sip a cocktail or have a cup of tea with the reflective colors and sounds of the nearby ocean.
Set among tropical gardens, alight with humming birds, along-side a crystal clear pool ... is this beautiful vacation retreat. It is within walking distance to the beach and a beautiful waterfall, complete with a wading pool. Perfectly located close to Dominical and yet far enough to enjoy a quiet holiday when you need to.
This well maintained villa is located in a gated development with twenty-four hour security. It is a two story detached villa with its own private swimming pool. The bedrooms, are located on the lower level and are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and private bathrooms. Each bedroom has it’s own private balcony for jungle viewing. There is a comfortable futon for a fifth person.
On the main level you can relax in your private fresh water pool - surrounded by tropical gardens. Look out over the ocean, watch the monkey shenanigans or listen to the birds in the jungle below or cook a gourmet meal in a modern kitchen. You can also sample a variety of local dishes at the many local restaurants. If you are feeling adventurous try one of the many local tours, horseback riding, zip lining, mangrove visits to name a few.
If you need to be in touch with the outside world we have "INTERNET". There is a small video library, but growing. An Ipod docking station is available all the time so you can bring your own music to dance the night away. An added bonus is that four wheel drive is not necessary to get to our villa. Maid service is available on request.

Why the Owner Chose Dominical
Canto Del Mar is in a gated community and is turn key, easy access, beautiful area, great beaches and surfing. Many, many restaurants. Being on the first level you can walk to the beach and waterfall from our home and not only have a stunning ocean view, sounds of the ocean but also the jungle below to observe wildlife. Also you do not need four wheel drive to get to our home as some other villas in the development.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
Canto Del Mar overlooks the jungle as well as the ocean, you can see wildlife and hear the waves at the same time. No four wheel drive necessary as some other villas need. If you want to stay home while others go off you can have an easy walk to the beach or waterfall.

We want to retire in Costa Rica and until then want to share our properties and experiences with like minded people. If this Villa is not to your liking we have a large home on 11 acres just north of Dominical in Play Matapalo. We also have a 250 acre farm in a remote area northwest of San Isidro with horses and 4 wheelers for the more adventuresome.
