What a great place to stay when visiting South Lake Tahoe!!! Minutes away from Heavenly Ski Resort, casinos and shops! Couldn't be a better location. This is a no brainer....MUCH better than a hotel room - very spacious bedrooms and a great, functional kitchen (love the open area for dining). 2 families were super comfortable all weekend. We will be back and will spread the word for future travelers. Thank you!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent part of the Christmas holiday at Villa Tahoe, and we loved every minute! The three bedrooms provided more than enough room for ourselves, our two young sons (ages 3 & 6), and my in-laws. The two bathrooms were also clean and spacious, and the large closets were also helpful in storing our winter gear. Our favorite part was probably the large kitchen-- with more than enough room for us to have morning breakfast or dinner together. The cozy fireplace in the living room was also a great gathering spot. The close proximity to Heavenly Ski Resort, the ski shuttle, nearby tubing at Hansen's Resort, and the ability to walk to restaurants (we enjoyed Blue Angel) or rent ski equipment (Rip N Willies was the best) should not go unmentioned. This condo had an excellent location, was a super-value, felt just like home, and we hope to return again! PS> We had family staying in Tahoe at a large hotel, and they preferred our accommodations to theirs! Thanks, Fred! Fred's condo is exactly the way it looks in the photos but much better! Where to start! We're a family of 5 and the condo could have very easily fit more. GREAT location - close to Heavenly, the casinos AND the rest of Tahoe - California side. The kitchen is HUGE. We didn't cook food, just made cocktails and coffee. But next time if we aren't as busy as we were this time, I'm going to cook something up. Everything you need is there. The front bathroom is huge and the shower is great. Lots of water pressure. Don't know anything about the back bathroom but I'm sure it's fine as well. The beds - all of them were glorious! We all had good sleep nites. We would recommend Fred's condo to any and all! Can't wait to go back.... I know exactly where to stay (this was our first attempt at utilizing a vaca rental). Oh... you may want to bring a bar of soap. There's tons of towels as well as towels for the pool. We didn't have time for a swim so will save that for next time. Neighbors are great. Very peaceful atmosphere. A personal thank you to Fred for the wonderful hospitality! This was a jewel of a find as we (3 couples) stayed here over a holiday weekend and was not overcharged for the occasion. I would definitely stay here again - holiday or not. The condo is conveniently located to Heavenly and the stateline (casinos) - all a very short drive, or about a mile walk. All the rooms were spacious and the living room, kitchen, and dining room were nice and cozy. It was a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the very little things - like the blush towels, free wifi, key pad lock door, 2 parking spots, and the complimentary wine, hot chocolate, and coffee, and nice decor touchs (bathroom mirror cabinets, and other little decorative pieces sprinkled through the condo). Lastly, Fred was very warm, responsive, and accomodating - thank you for our stay!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I went on a weekend ski trip to ski Heavenly with two other couples and we stayed at the villa. The house was warm and comfortable and offered all of the luxury we were looking for in a weekend stay. There was even a bottle of wine awaiting us upon arrival. The capstone of the trip occurred when I realized I had left a pair of pants behind the door. I emailed the owner and with out any protest, he went out of his way to mail them back to me -- free of charge. Great villa, excellent service.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We arrived at this condo in the morning on 12/24. As soon as my friends entered the rooms, they came to me and appreciated that I found this place. Inside was super clean and the size of the rooms were more than enough to stay with 6 adults. You will never find the same quality of condo with this price. Even the location is very close to Heavenly ski resort and convenient to go anywhere. I would definitely come back to this property next time. It is a really wonderful place and highly recommended!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This condo property at Villa Tahoe exceeded our expectations! The condo was clean, comfortable, and had a well furnished kitchen, washer & dryer access and wi-fi. In addition, extra blankets, beach towels, toiletries in each bathroom, coffee, tea and spices were provided. To our delight we also found a back-pack picnic set that we used on one of our hiking trips. We truly enjoyed these added touches! The pool and outdoor space was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee. The condo is within walking distance of the beach and a great pancake house and just down the road from Heavenly Shopping village and many casinos. If your interested in horseback riding; Zephr Cove Stables is a great place to go for 1 or 2 hours and they even offer breakfast, lunch or dinner rides. The mountain trail ride has unbelieveable photo ops! My husband and I were there to attend our sons wedding along with other family members. We spent 5 days and 4 nights in the condo. It was a perfect fit for our group and couldn’t have been in a better location to meet up with other family groups, attend all the planned activities and wedding in South Lake Tahoe. We would recommend staying here to any group of 6 looking for a comfy place to stay with all the amenities and priced just right.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo is perfectly located, near the action but quiet if you want to rest. We like to walk, so it was ideal for us and our son and daughter-in-love bike; they had a marvelous time. The condo was beautifully furnished, photos did not do it justice. I was a bit nervous renting online; it was the first time I have done so. We all felt that I picked a winner.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
