Chally's Hill is located in quaint Hatteras Village at the southern tip of Hatteras Island - close to the Hatteras Island Lighthouse, Ocracoke Ferry and the best fishing on the east coast. Hatteras Village is the place to go if you are looking for a relaxing shore hideaway. Chally's Hill was once known as a brothel run by a Madame Chally in the 1950s. The name Hill comes from it once being the highest point on the island - during a hurricane it was the place to park cars. The house has since been rebuilt and has a homey yet island appeal. Its the only house on the island with a heated indoor pool. Chally's Hill is located just blocks to the free Ocracoke Island Ferry- Ocracoke was voted one of the top beaches in the world by travel magazine. Hatteras Village offers the best deep sea fishing fleets available! The house is on 2.1 acres of wetland, has a dock and lake - great for fishing and crabbing. The house also has four decks (including a crows nest atop). It is a few blocks to the ocean and also the sound.
