Bass Harbor, Maine. This classic, newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cape is nestled in the Maine woods on the less hectic side of Mt. Desert Island. The first floor offers a gourmet kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom and Mexican tile floors. The second floor offers a large master bedroom, half bath and a second bedroom and hardwood floors. The exterior of the house has a large deck and screened gazebo.

The house is located just 2 minutes by car to Bernard, Bass Harbor Landing and Thurston's Lobster Pound. Southwest Harbor, Bass Harbor Light House, Ferry to Swan's Island, Seawall, and Seal Cove Beach are all about 5 minutes away by car. Acadia National Park (i.e. seawall entrance, Mansell Mountain, Acadia Mountain, Beech Mountain, Wonderland, St. Savior and the crystal clear swimming waters of Echo Lake) are all 10 minutes or less away by car. Also, the complimentary shuttle bus to all Acadia National Park destinations is about 5 minutes away by foot.
