Overlooking a small pond, this beautifully remodeled Deer Run three bedroom two and half bath end unit townhouse is situated in the prestigious gated community of Sawgrass Country Club. Townhouse is 15 minutes from the Mayo Hospital complex and 30 minutes from Shands Medical Center.
Some of the interior features include new carpeting, beautiful tile flooring, and completely remodeled baths. There is a family room off the kitchen that has a queen size sleeper sofa, a large dining room featuring Florida style furniture and a living room with a wet bar and fireplace.
The kitchen is extremely well stocked with cookware and appliances. The townhouse is equipped with digital cable and internet access. The upstairs boasts a master bedroom with a king size bed, private deck with balcony overlooking the pond plus a large walk-in closet.
The two guest bedrooms each have two twin beds. Washer and dryer facilities are located on the second floor. All bedrooms have their own TV’s with DVD players. Upstairs bathrooms feature full sink with vanity separate from shower/tub combination.
The townhouse has an attached garage.
There is a beautiful screened two story lanai overlooking the pond with outdoor dining table and chairs and a Weber gas grill. End unit has side yard and open space. The townhouse comes with two bikes, beach chairs and beach towels for your use.
The condo is located next to the Tennis Center, home of the MPS Group Championship for 2009, 2010 and 2011.
The townhouse is centrally located within a short walking distance to all the club facilities, including the newly renovated Beach Club with Oceanside adults only pool and Olympic-sized heated, family pool along with fabulous casual and formal dining, the Racquet Club with 13 Har-Tru tennis courts and the Fitness Center with a full range of equipment to accommodate any workout routine.
There is also a heated pool at the fitness center. The Golf Club offers you 27 holes of championship golf.
Sawgrass Country Club guest membership is available for an additional charge. This allows access to the all club facilities including all pools and dining facilities as well as the fitness center and tennis center.
The townhouse has digital cable with ALL premium movie channels and Internet access - Ethernet in the kitchen and wireless throughout the rest of the house.

My family and I love this place! We have rented the property two years now and plan to rent again next year. We love the amenities like the grill on the screened lanai, 2nd floor laundry closet, all the beach towels, bikes, lawn chairs, etc. The best part for us is the close proximity to the ocean!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.

After seeing the negative review, and having stayed in Sawgrass for many summers, I wanted to say that we had no troubles at this property. We also had no trouble w/ the property management company. In fact, I consider the company to easily be one of the most responsive of the available managers in Ponte Vedra Beach. The home was clean and clearly owned by a family that had a love for the beach. It is comfortable enough, even though the furnishings are a bit dated. The community is wonderful, and we never experienced anything other than friendly neighbors, especially the ones next door!

My family and I live in Germany and we stayed in this condo last summer for the month of July. We will stay again July 2011 and I wanted to respond to the negative review I noticed on the VRBO site. My entire family loved our time in the condo. We have a college age golfer, a teenage soccer player, and our youngest plays tennis. Obviously we fit right in and did not ever feel unwelcome in the community. The owners were fantastic and always helpful. The location was superb...so close to everything and I would recommend this condo if you are looking for great golf, a private beach, and great shopping close by.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We have stayed at many VRBO properties over the years and this is the first one that we had a problem. There are two major problem areas. The first is that the property management firm provides very poor customer service. This property management firm appears to be basically two sisters working out of a cell phone. It took a dozen emails and phone calls to get a contract and then the contract had the wrong dates so more emails etc. This should have been a warning to run away. When we arrived there were no passes set up for us to enter this gated community so we were locked out at least twice. Several more examples like these. The second problem area is that this townhouse is located in a very nice gated Country Club. My impression is that the permanent residents of this Country Club do not like that this townhouse is rented out. You will be treated like you are a temporary resident of lower status (one of The Beverly Hillbillies in Paradise.) The townhouse itself is nice enough but overall I should have avoided this one and found another place in Ponte Vedra, Florida.
Owner response:This is the owner of the propety and the above commets from Mike are due totally to the fact that he left the house New Year's day extremely dirty, mounds of dirty towels piled on the floor and furniture moved all over the place and did not want to take responsibility for this. He was charged an additional nominal cleaning fee for the mess he left. This was the first and only time an additional cleaning fee has been charged.
