Come and enjoy our beautiful home set on ten acres with mountain views. A fisherman’s dream, you are surrounded by some of the finest fly fishing in the west; including Hat Creek, Fall River, Pit River, McCloud River and Baum Lake. For those Bass fishing enthusiasts, Lake Britton is the place to go.
Unlimited fun for families and kids of all ages. In just a 15 minute drive, golf in Fall River or spend the day boating, swimming or hiking at McArthur Burney Falls State Park and then head back to the house and enjoy all the comforts of home. Day trips include a train ride in McCloud or Yreka, explore the Shasta Caverns or jump into the Falls at McCloud. At night kids can have fun roasting marshmallows at the campfire pit in the backyard. Dogs are welcome in the house and in the large fenced yard.
For those who like a little adventure explore the Pacific Crest trail, Thousand Lakes Wilderness and Lassen Park. Mountain bikers can access a network of old logging roads to some awesome single track trails. In the winter enjoy a slower pace than Tahoe and ski or snowboard on Mt. Shasta. Great runs and no lines! You can cross country ski or snowmobile on the logging roads close by.
For your HORSES we have two stalls and corals with small covered barn. There are trails right across the street. You can ride the Pacific Crest trail, Thousand Lakes Wilderness or Lassen Park. There are miles of trails; some are flat and easy to ride while others are more difficult. All of the trails are beautiful, so come check them out. We also have plenty of room for your portable fencing and horsetrailers.

We have been enjoying Burney Falls State Park and waterskiing on Lake Britton for 30 years. The hunting and fishing is fantastic.

We chose this home in Hat Creek for our little vacation for several reasons... the most important being the enclosed yard & VERY dog friendly home. My husband, our 6 yr old grandson & myself stayed here for 3 nights with our 4 Cavalier Spaniels. The doggies LOVED all the room & adapted very quickly. The home is beautifully decorated and is very comfortable. Our grandson loved HIS cowboy room! We visited Burney Falls & Mt. Shasta... then bar-b-que'd and had bon-fires in the evening under a blanket of stars! We'll be back for sure!

This home is very comfortable, the location is quiet and the views are very beautiful. We have three dogs that travel with us and they acclimated to the home/yard very quickly. The yard is spacious and the dogs got lots of exercise running around and chasing each other. This home has pretty much everything you could ask for. There are televisions in every bedroom, a nice book and video library and lots of games to play. The large soaking tub in the master bedroom is wonderful after a long day of fishing, hiking, biking, etc. The house is conveniently located near fishing sites, hiking trails, biking and site seeing. This year we caught (2) 18" German Brown's at about 2 1/2 - 3 lbs each and (1) 20" German Brown at about 3 1/2lbs. We caught a total of 36 trout which will be smoked once the weather warms up a little! Hat Creek Growers is about 5 minutes away where you can purchase "Grass Fed Beef" (by pre-order only). This beef is wonderful and so full of flavor. We barbecued a few steaks while we were at the house and they were fabulous. Rhoda we will definately be back next year. We just got back from our stay in Hat Creek and we stayed in this house... What an amazing place! Very warm and well kept you can tell the owners have put alot of love and time into their home. It was very easy to find and had all of the comforts of home. Our children had an amazing time fishing and playing in the back yard. They played from dawn till dusk. Ronda the owner was very very freindly and made sure we felt welcome! Thank you so much we made wonderful memories there that we will never forget. We highly recomend this home! Our family has been comming to the Hat Creek area for a number of years and found this home very confortable for our family of 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. So much so we will be making this a yearly rental over other rentals we have frequented. The home is reasonably priced, located in a quiet neighborhood with a large backyard, clean, well decorated, with a library of movies as well as a listing of activities in the area. It is about 25 miles from Mt. Lassen and about 15 miles from Burney Falls and within miles of some great fishing.
