This spacious, sunny, and well-planned Lyons townhome offers 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and an ideal island location. Great place for family to reunite.
The front of this raised townhome is actually to the rear of the building, where an old-fashioned front porch overlooks the complex's center courtyard, featuring beautiful landscaping, outdoor grilling areas, and a large pool.
Inside, the door opens to a great room with soft yellow walls and bright color accents in an island motif. the living room area has a comfortable 3-piece seating group and built-in cabinet shelving that holds a TV/VCR/DVD and CD player. On the opposite side of the room is a formal dining area with seating for 8 and an open kitchen area that is defined by a dining/serving counter with 2 barstools. The fully-equipped kitchen also features generous cupboard space and a built-in wall oven.
Down the hallway is a convenient powder room, a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, and the master bedroom; a bright corner room with a king-size bed, an armoire with TV/VCR, a walk-in closet, and a private bath with a large walk-in shower.
At the top of the 2nd floor stairway is a den area with a pull-out sofa, a cozy chair, and a TV/VCR. Off this room is bedroom #2 featuring a cathedral ceiling, a queen-size bed, an armoire with TV/VCR, and a private bath.
A short hallway then leads to bedroom #3, which also has a cathedral ceiling, as well as a king-size bed, a TV, and a private bath, and to bedroom #4 with 2 twin beds, a TV, and a private bath with a walk-in shower.
In addition to off-street parking in the driveway, there is covered parking for 4 cars underneath the home.
The Lyons complex in Port Royal Plantation is a small group of spacious, duplex townhomes clustered around a landscaped green area. This common area features a large pool-heated MAR 1 - MAY 1 and OCT 1-DEC 1, a spa heated MAR 1 - DEC 1, and individual grilling areas in front of each townhouse. A short 4 to 6 minute walk on a paved pathway leading down to the beach featuring a beach house with rest rooms and a playground for the kids. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex. Guests can enjoy one hour of free tennis per day at the Port Royal Raquet Club .

I just spent two weeks at this wonderful villa. It was so comfortable, spacious and relaxing! The beach is so close, yet the beautiful pool and hot tub are even closer. I could have spent every day just sitting on the porch (which overlooks the pool), the ceiling fan slowly whirring above. I would return in a second...and I will! The kitchen was fully stocked. I could have prepared every meal there had I wanted. And I really appreciated the dishwasher, washer, dryer, nice big tv and dvd player. Doing laundry is no chore when you'e in Port Royal! A nice tv and private bath with every bedroom -- really super. Loved the bike/walking trails and golf course. I either walked or rode my bike to shopping every day. The trees are like none I've ever seen. I'd recommend this villa, and Port Royal, to anyone considering a Hilton Head vacation.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

We love this place! Every year we have a family reunion at the Lyons and this is our favorite condo. It is homey and beachy at the same time. The front porch is beautiful and a great reading spot. We can be in the condo and still see the kids in the pool ( ours are old enough to be there by themselves!). It's location is great- in the middle of beautiful pine trees and beach access is a 3 minute walk. Can't beat the free tennis everyday either! We would highly recommend #8 Lyons.
