Main street street features clothing, antique, gift shops, bike shop, surf shop, salons and spas, restaurants, and a theatre. Take a walk down the 2 block long pier and dine at Ruby's 50's style restaurant...you can often see the seals at play from the end of the pier. Walk out the front door and cross the street to the beach...don't forget the boogie boards and sand toys provided. Miles and miles of bike paths along both the beaches and along the river that runs into the ocean. Nearby Long Beach offers an outstanding aquarium, museums, dining and shopping accessible by walking, biking, driving or water taxi!
If you want to venture out, within a 20 minute drive is Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, 40 minute drive to Universal Studios, the Getty Museum, Rodeo Drive, 1 hr drive to Legoland, 2hr drive to San Diego Zoo. Don't forget to catch your favorite sports teams at Dodger Stadium, Anaheim Stadium, Anaheim Pond, or the Chargers or Padre's home stadiums.
