There is a common area with a comfortable leather sofa and all the amenities you can find in a property such as plasma TV, DVD, stereo system and internet. There is a full equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave and all the kitchen appliances you might need.
The property is close to the main highlights of the city such as the Palau de la Música Catalana, Mercat de Santa Caterina, the Cathedral and the Museo Picasso and just 10 minutes on foot to Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas and Santa Maria del Mar church. You just need to cross Paseo Colon to be in the gothic quarter where you can have some yummy Spanish tapas and walk a few blocks up to visit the charming Modernist buildings of Gaudí. After a busy day working or visiting you can relax on its deck enjoying the sunshine on a incredible place with breath taking views of the city or try the sandy beach that is just one minute on foot. Another place to visit is the fisherman quarter of Barceloneta. One of the most picturesque neighborhoods of the city.

The Maria Luisa is beautiful and she is docked in great location (Port Vell). This was central to all we wanted to do. Close walk to the beach, Barrio Gothic, and La Rambla(I can still taste the tapas). Our host, German, was very helpful with recommendations on what to see and he patiently explained the workings of the boat to us. Absolutely gorgeous spot. We would stay here again. (and a note to families with small children...ours are 6 and 3 years old. The huge bonus was two berths up front in the boat. Great size for the kids, they really enjoyed having their own "rooms".
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.

It was a beautiful boat and an excellent location.... walking distance to many of Barcelona's top attractions. Our host, German, was most gracious and addressed any problems we might have had, promptly. TV was provided with no English channels but many enjoyable music channels. We definitely would choose this property again upon returning to Barcelona.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.
